Hey guys, new member, name is Karl, here is my new ride:

2005 VZ Commodore Lumina

Bought stock as a rock.

Mods so far:

- 2 hole intake mod
- SS Strut Brace
- 20% Tint
- SS Pedals
- Silver interor trim bits
- Calais tail lights
- Calais chrome number plate surround
- Debadged rear end (except for Holden badge)

Mods to come:

- Kings SSL's
- Monroe GT Sport Shortened Shocks
- 18 or 19 inch rims
- Maybe an exhaust system?

Very nice Lumina mate me and the missus bought one about 4 months ago now. Ours is Cosmo Purple. Ill post a link up for ya to look at it once the thread gets approved (just posted it up then). Whats next for it?

Welcome! Very nice machine. Now u need a set of calais headlights then chrome bonnet strip and will look even better! Good choice on the vz calais tailights they are the best lookin tailights ever for a VZ in my opinion.

Thanks for all the great comments guys.. Bit of a change compared to my previous car (Mazda3 MPS). Next up are some nice rims and bring it a bit closer to earth!

Nah, not staggered, 19 x 8.5's all round.. Shortened shocks and SSL's coming soon..

Also painted the front brake calipers and disc hubs today. Will do the rears next weekend, ran out of time and daylight.. Pics..

Has been a while since my last update. Got some stickers custom made which look pretty cool! Recent mods include Monroe GT Shocks, Kings SL Springs in the front and SSL's in the rear, new Bendix front brake pads and RDA slotted rotors.

I have also sourced an SS front bar and VZ Calais rear bumper flairs, just got to get some SS side skirts now (only $88ea new fron Holden) and i will get it all sprayed up and fitted!

Anyways very nice work!! nice ride height!! Although i would get a calais front bar they are so much classier [im bias] and how bout removing that spoiler?? make it look so much cleaner. I find the front bar u have now is quiet nice too also take off that towbar!! eww.. haha i took mine off n looks so much better!! anyways!! very nice ride again!! enjoy!! take plenty of piccies!

Thanks for the comments guys! I have the SS bar and Calais rear lips, just need to get the side skirts now, then i'll get it all sprayed up and fitted, should look good... Removing the rear spoiler would look good, but i couldn't be assed getting the holes filled and respayed, too much effort and $$$.. Towbar gets used every now and then + it is a good reverse parking sensor for idiots who park right up my ass lol. Stay tuned for more pics..

have you got it fully insured at that height? cause its just under legal ride height isnt?
