Hey Will how's it going? How does your car go without mudguards on the rough stuff. Its been suggested to me quite a few times to take them off but I'm worried about the paint. Should I taken off and put them back on when I head out bush.

hey man been a while! still in adelaide pete? should comeout one fri or saturday mate. since ive taken the mudflaps off havent had much off road driving. but its made no difference to the paint. unlike the vs which ended up stonechipped as hell.

Yeah I'm still here. I'll come out on a cruise in the future, don't know if I'll come out to anzacs again though, found the last time a bit boring. I took the SV6 to KI last weekend and I'm I have the flaps still on, the roads were mostly dirt.

When did you get an XF ute? My old man had a yellow one when I was in high school. Loved that ute.

how have u stuck the mesh to your grill? ive got some mesh here to do mine but wouldnt have a clue what to use to attach it

im scratching my head with this one as well. i used hot glue and that failed. silicone worked but is a pain to work with and i dont trust it, so ive put my stock grille in until i find something.

i tried liquid nails and failed. i was thinking cable ties? sounds tacky but might do the job

i was thinking the dreaded sikaflex.

when you tried the hot glue did you scuff up the area you tried applying it to??
sounds stupid i know but it allows it to bond to the item a bit better

yeah i did, but i think the engine heat softens it up and with lovely smooth sa roads it vibrates the mesh loose. ive never had the mesh falloff, just droop down.
