hey guys i just bought this yesterday tell me what you think and any ideas on upgrades and cheap power gains im new to the V8s always had V6

Id love to have that V8 under my bonnet thats for sure!! As for upgrades - best thing I've bought to date for mine would have to be HID's for the lights, such a difference the the stock bulbs its incredible.

But thats just a practical/cosmetic sort of upgrade - performance wise I've heard the OTR intakes are the way to go for the V8's possibly?

Ive always wanted a VZ Calais, especially one with a V8. Awesome pickup mate!
Definitely lower it & put some bigger rims on.

Welcome to the VZ CALAIS Stable ahaha awesome cars!! I would whack some 19" wheels on and lowering. Not much more i would do keep it nice n simple. You could also get these chrome grill bars that u put on each side of the lion badge, have a look at mine nice little addition and not over the top. Congrats on ur purchase, and take good care of it!! A nice layer of dodo wax would top it off!!

Nice purchase should look good with some tasteful mods, plenty of ideas from other VZ Calais owners on the forum.
Minimum performance should start with a decent exhaust then a cold air over the radiator intake (OTR) and a mafless tune for starters.

hey thank all for the comments guys as for rims i have VE SSVs to go on it i just havent put them on yet and the chrome grill bars that u put on each side of the lion badge what are they from?
i also have some VZ SS fenders would that look ok? i bought them for my VX but i traded the VX for the calais then swaped the VX fenders for VZ ones

The fenders will look great on a calais, adds a little bit of toughness to a classy car, just don't add a rear spoiler, spoils the calais.

yeah ive never been a fan on spoilers i wanna take the one i have off gotta find a black boot with out a spoiler oh and by the way your Senator is fkn awesome i wish i could get a car like that

like the black rims too i was thinking about it but i just bought VE SSVs so ill have to wait
