Looks good. I like how youve painted the engine covers, makes for a much more appealing look under the bonnet. And a full exhaust and tune will be a very worthwhile thing, these cars are pretty quick for a 6 stock. Let us know how it all goes.

Hey man just curious how do u find the Custom cold air intake compare when u first had it?
Well it does sounds better, a deeper sounding roar also seems to have a bit more power from about 3500 rpm on, dont know about Fuel economy benfits as i have been sinking the foot in just to enjoy the sound....HAhaha...
Just added some LED's to the front....

I like the engine covers. Did you use engine enamel for hot temps or just a normal can of spray over the plastic primer?
Looks the goods mate,
You mean LED, you cant fit a LCD to ur HL!
The Blue One
Hey man just used regular 2 pac color matched with a clear coat havent had a prob with the temp so far...Mick
Yeah yeah i know too many burbons.......Hahahaha fixed now...

did you go looking for a blue battery or did you paint it yourself?
Hows the shift response of the 5spd slush box? Any better acceleration to a manual? I'm curious to know if I made the right choice. Can you burble the exhaust on downshifts?
Hey man the battery came with the car, it is just a standard RAVC Batt replacement....?
Well VZVZVZ cant compare the auto to the manual as i own an auto , althogh i have had manuals in the past and they always respond better than an auto no delay spining up the tourq converter. But as for response it goes well, did a bit of highway driving (Melbourne Warnambool) and at 95-100ks it kicked down 2 gears and just went...Mick
8.5Lt per hundred indicated..
Nice ride man. Looks fairly straight.
I've always liked the Impulse Blue. My initial intention was to go by a SSZ when I solde my 03 Berlina, but instead I got myself a 10 VE SSV. Who'd have thought?
Anyways, if you haven't already, you gotta get rid of those mud flaps, when you take em off, you wonder why you didn't do it earlier.
Keep up the good looks of it man.
Thanks man, gunna put a new stereo in soon just waiting for tax money..i know what u mean but i do a bit of driving on some unsealed roads and the flaps help keep the S*it off the bodywork..
Hey people just replaced the quarter panel indicator lenses with the statesman ones...sorry about the dirty car has been raining for days...Mick

Looking good Mick, I like all the little things you're doing to this, makes it just that bit nicer, and personalized
Where'd you get the bootliner from, and how much? Are the VT ones the same as the VY/VZ's?
And do you have any pics of the LED's in the day time, do they stick out infront of the headlight, or tucked away underneath it??
Thanks man, i got the Boot liner from my local dealer $77.50 Part No GM_92169663 plus about 10 press in fastners i think it is a vx Calais from memory...
Heres the Led in The Daytime...

Nice ride mate, has a few different things going for it. Those LED's are cool. First time I've seen something like that on one of these. Where'd you get them from, how do they go on etc. They look like they fit perfectly.
