i dont mind the wheel but i wont complain as it came like that from the dealer with Dunlop sp sport 3000a with fairly new tread so until they are nearly gone im gonna keep them on there, and i still can believe how much better it is than the vl and i wont miss mine as its been a money pit of problems. Im planning on upgrading the stereo soon and i would also like to do a dash light conversion that ASR audio and electronics do but would need to wait for a roadshow to adelaide

Nice Ride Mate. Any Other Mods Planned?
2 Hole Mod and 2.5" Catback would be a good start and cheap too.
    Cheers,

If it's had dealer service or has good log books find out when the fluids like brake, power steer, coolant and auto trans were done and get them done first of all. As a rul eI change the power steerign fluid about every 12 months. If you can't establish when they were done best to do them now especially the brakes and coolant.
I doubt the 2 hole mod does anything except make it noisy and the standard exhaust shoudl be fine.

Slam it on it's Guts and things will look different...

I like your VY, but don't like the wheels with the car so high, it's not funny.

I believe that the Body Kit is an S-Pac Kit, not an SS Kit. The SS has Fog Lamps Factory, where-as on the S-Pac, you had the option to install them.

He said SS bodykit...SS bodykit and S pac body kit are the same..even if the foggies are an option, technically the lights have nothing to do with a bodykit

Car looks good mate very clean, don't really agree with the red walls...they only work if the rest of the wheels are spotless and thats practically impossible to achieve, still though, very nice for an acclaim good luck with it!

thanks and im not gonna be keeping the redwalls when i get my next set of tyres because they dull quickly and then slowly fade and to stay bright red it would take redoing every 3-4 weeks (which i havent done)

EDIT: i forgot to add that i have now got a 2.5" Lukey catback system on the car now and here is the video for it YouTube - VY Acclaim Lukey Catback Exhaust

    next mods will probably be:

    1. vy ss headlight and removing the leds when i change to them
    2. vz ss tail lights
    3. Extractors and high flow cats

well when i first got the exhaust on with no tip it droned a fair bit but then i bought a after market tip from autobarn and cut some of the pipe back and welded the tip onto it and that has reduced most of the drone but there is still a bit at certain points (like windows down)

i can try and get a video of what its like in the cabin with windows up and down but i wouldnt be able to get one till the weekend

well i finally got around to putting the FE2s i bought late last year in and replaced the shocks and struts as it seems they were the originals and were stuffed so i replaced it with some Monroe GT gas shocks and struts and its amazing how much better it handles

its only been a few days since they have gone in and it looks like it is sitting about 10-15mm lower now
