This is my first post so far! Let me know if im getting anything wrong!

Car: 2002 Series 2 VY Berlina
Color: Martini Green
Engine: 3.8Ltr Ecotec, (so far on 129,XXX K’s)
Power: Currently 198.2Rwkw with no cooler on 9PSI

To Do list.
- Lower. Done. SSSL rears, SSL fronts & Monroe GT Sports shockers
- Wheels. Done. 20" VE GTS's
- Sound system. Done. JVC KD-AVX11 DVD player with 2.7" screen, JVC 7” KV-M706 slide out screen, 6.5” JVC splits in all doors, 1000watt Pioneer monoblock amp, 2 x 12” Kicker’s, 1 Farad Fusion capacitor, Optima yellow top battery.
- HBD Lip Spoiler. Done.
- Calais kit & Fog lights. Done.
- Tint. Done. 13% tint.
- Sunroof. Bought sunroof, yet to go on
- Rear window Venetians.
- Autometer Cobalt electronic boost & oil pressure gauges. Done.
- HSV gauge holder. Done.
- MSD coil packs. Done.
- High ratio roller rockers. Done.
- 25MM plenum spacer. Done.
- Shift Kit auto. Done. Stage 2 shift kitted auto
- Diff. Done. Rebuilt LSD with 4.11 gears
- Exhaust. Done. Pacemaker 3 into 1's, twin stainless till high flow cats, twin 2.5" system
- Supercharger kit. Done!
- Reverse plenum. Done!
- Alloy rocker covers. Done!
- Intercooler. Done!

Really nice berlina mate and with low kms! Did you have to roll front and rear guards to fit 20's or just rear??

Thanks mate, Yer my old man had it since 20,000K's got it of him a couple of years ago.

Rears I didnt have to roll, but i had to shave some of the plastic of right where the bumper joins the body on the wheel arch. Its pretty snug, springs are not cut and really stiff so the tyre doesnt touch body even with a full car load unless i go over a real decent bump.

Front's had to be rolled to clear it when turning, even after its been rolled if i go up a sharp drive way etc it does touch sometimes.

Haha she does look alike, white walls look great on yours mate, i wouldnt even bother with 20's i would go back to 19's if i could be stuffed. Its a rough ride. Im jealous of your interior though, mine aint leather!

Lol cheers mate. Yeah I always wondered how the ride would be like but it sure does look the goods. I'll give you the leather if u give me the Calais body kit lol. I've been wanting to get that for some time now. Good luck with it mate. A photoshoot would be pretty cool with both our cars haha

Yeh i thought you might have a bit of trouble with the front when turning. I only have SL's in the front of my VY with 17's and its close enough when i'm turning haha but i havent rolled my guards. I had SSSL's in the rear with 17's and it was freaaakin low....so I have chucked SSL's back in, sits nice on 17's now. Anyway mate looks real nice

Cheers, Yer would have been reallll low with 17's on haha would have looked sweet though , mine aint too bad on speed humps and stuff the 20's lift it up a bit because of the size.

Thanks, i haven't come across a HBD lip again on ebay but they have the senator ones on there now:

haha yeh i did love the look of it that low but oh well, if i had some 19's i probs would have kept the SSSLs. surprisingly i didnt have a lot of problems with the height spose because i was pretty careful about where i drove haha but when i did happen to come across a nice big speed bump or if i had any weight in the back, it didnt like it too much haha

any plans coming up soon?

I got it done at Preston Automatics and Differentials, Preston Automatics and Differentials - HOME There great guys to deal with.
Yer i think there's a fair bit of a difference, its not that noticeable when your driving normal, but if you punch it off the line it absolutely slams into second and even chirps the 20's in the dry lol havent got to drove it in the wet yet..

sweet as car bro! i've got a vy s pack ute and i had 17x8.5 running 245/45 rubber and my fronts sounded like a plane taking off, rubbed all the tread off the inside of the tyres! think it was rubbing on the strut tower, did you have any issues with that?

Nah, had no issues with rubbing on the strut tower, but its all a really tight fit. Im not too sure about the offset, but mate owns a tire place and he put them on.
I can find out for you if you like in the next couple of days.

I just got 13% tint on the car done aswell, set's it off pretty good with the wheels. Im happy with how it came out.

Cheers mate. Knowing the offset would be great cause from what I've heard it's the difference between scrubbing and not scrubbing the guards when your in 20's territory... A territory that I'm pretty eager to get into quite soon
