2006 VZ SVZ
I bought it mid 2009 with 30 000km on the clock and have been chipping away at the mods since. Most of it's been done by myself with the help of some good mates. As far as the engines concerned, prior to this I was running the SS Growler Induction Kit, Pacemakers Extractors and a Single 2.5" Exhaust with Hi-Flow Cats. I loved it but craved more power to the point it haunted my sleep...
Currently, it's sitting in a mates shop with the below being thrown in (including the diff and gearbox). We should have it on the road again in 3 weeks. I'll keep you updated as our little project continues.
Needs a respray thanks to letting the Mrs back it out of the driveway into my brother's Ford and another incident in the shopping carpark. Fortunately I got the number plate of the guy who tried driving away so now I'm just waiting for insurance. I've got the SS Fluted Guards to go on as the front left panel needs fixing thanks to the Mrs anyway.
I'm putting this up because I loved using sites such as this to form my decisions with this vehicle, all of which I've been happy with. It's only fair I let everyone else have a squiz at my ride. I have a few recentish pics but not many so I'll get some in the next few weeks and get you all a good look at it, especially of the engine bay and interior.
Feel free to get the questions, comments and suggestions flowing and I hope this helps someone out with some ideas for their ride.

as for the power figure VERY nice! that should be abit of a weapon!
with that kinda power u would scare / beat some of the LS owners
Thanks guys. Do plan on giving the LS owners a bit of a surpriseVZHSV u live on the peninsula? I swear I've seen your car somewhere, those orange stripes are a head turner.

pic of the engine? thats of a mates car, not mine. No pics of my own engine bay yet but mine is an identical setup only with the insulator and CPR6 manifold. Haven't got any pictures of mine yet, only ones a few months old, cars not back in my hands till a couple of weeks unfortunately until I return home to pick her up. Waiting for the gearbox to comeback anyway as it's away atm getting strengthened. Also got the 4000 Hi-Stall coming back to get the turbo out of the hole of the line. This turbo kit hasn't been tested with the CPR6 manifold before so when the autos back we're tuning it with the goal of making 300rwkw. I wouldn't mind slightly more though. When it's all up and running i'll get some pics and vids up.
nice job buddy cant wait to c how she turns out! more pics!!!!!
I like it mate, even though it's turbo charged it still looks nice and clean! Great job![]()
Reppin' Alloytech 190/5 Speed Automatics.=
i like it aswell, well done mate
that is one sexy car
cheers fellasyeah just waiting for the gearbox to come back and then the exhaust is goin on. Won't have her back in my hands for a couple of weeks anyway coz I can't get away from work till then to go pick her up but I'll be sure to put up some newer pics and dyno results when I get the chance.
Just on the look out for some suspension packages. She'll be a road car predominantly but wanna take it to the track. Anyone got ideas on what to throw in?
Sick car man it looks awsome
I'm rarely on here, but here's an update... Have just started playing with her again, early days yet, expect far more out of her. Will continue tuning this week and potentially run a number this saturday if the stars align...
Attached is a recent dyno printout of initial tune, keep in mind this is E85 with 11psi boost. Engine 100% stock, plenty of room to move in terms of timing and boost, more dyno time will tell us what this engine has to offer over next few days. Remember this also has a 4000rpm converter...
