Yeah mate, G6E Turbo's are very tidy. Put a bit of work with them and they go like the clappers.

I can understand why you would want a G6E, have been looking at the FG xr6t's an for like nothing you can get about 300rwkw, like im a holden man through an through, but seeing them numbers an how cheap you can get a fg xr6t its pretty tempting in my eyes lol

yeh they make some pretty interesting numbers, id really like to know how they would handle tho, i dont see my car going anywhere anytime soon, havent had any bites recently although i am not fussed at all was just seeing if the interest was there

the thought has crossed my mind about taking out the driveline and putting the ls1 back in, selling the ls3 would be too easy, but i would get most of my money back tho, but then i cbf going thru that process again

Yeah i know what ya mean, the ls3 would sell easy but then you have the pain of doing all that mucking around again, i want a xr6 turbo but i cant see myself owning a ford, but its pretty tempting, im nearly thinking maybe just turbo or s/cing a sv6 lol, but then thinking about it more, i really want a v8, so maybe a ss then s/cing it later on down the track haha

i couldnt justify owning a ford, we have never owned a ford in our family, so i aint starting it haha, its gonna be a sweet sunday car if you keep it an add more onto it

This is the same thing that happened to the Calais.

You went crazy doing it up really quickly then abruptly put it up for sale and let it sit there for 18 months until someone finally bought it from you.

I mean its your call its just Im trying to get my head around your way of thinking.

    lol... we're the same.

GO nuts, then get bored, then try to sell, then let it sit in the garage for an extended period, rediscover how fun it is and the cycle starts again...

    Good times, good times...

Don't get me wrong I love the car! and respect the effort put into it.

I could never pour that much money and love into a car and want to get rid of it so quick

You sound like you prefer building them to driving them, maybe you should do it for a job.
Thats how the guy in Melbourne that restores Falcon GT's got started, just a passion that is now a business.
