Just picked her up from the dealership today, drives almost perfect, absolutely love it.

Everything else is pretty much stock standard. (for now.)

Got plans to de-badge (tomorow)
getting verde 18" chromies
SL's all around
2 1/2" cat (unless you kind VY owners can suggest something that sounds mint. I want it to sound tough, but not excessively loud and annoying, just a slight roar.)
Window tints, will probably get 25-30% opacity
Slimline/personalized plates.

Any other suggestions? I'm on my p's so engine mods are out of the question.

I think the wheels are from a VZ SS. If they are 17's, they are off a ute, Crewman or wagon??? 18's off a sedan. (Not sure about the diameter for wagons.)

Positive they are 17" They look too small for 18" and too big for 16". Hm, i'll look into it, dad's getting them when i get the verde scorpions on.

VZ SS Ute rims...

NOW all you need is VZ Calais lights and reflectors and the 'SS' Light mod. And it will look awesome.

I love the berlinas... but i might be bias. hahaha

On the topic of fog lights. DarkEnvy, Reckon you can take a pic of the plug the fog light attaches to, like where its mounted to ?

I can try later, pissing down rain atm. Yeah the fog lights are great.

Decided I'm going to ditch the idea for tinted windows, they already have a slight tint (unsure of the opacity.)

And i'm going to put the 2 1/2" cat on the bottom of my "to do" list.

So far (in order of priority) this is what i want to do.

Change wheels, if my verde scorpion wheels dont suit, i'll get them HBD J series wheels from STEALTHY.
SL's all around, if i want it to sit lower i might get SSL's, still unsure.
VZ calais lights, ordered them off ebay today. (:
New headunit. Will this one fit?
Once the new headunit is it, i'll put in my Sub+amp (sony xplod 1000w 12" and alpine 1100w amp.)

luke 641 i used to have a VYII berlina stock with fog lights the plug on my just seemed to hung just below the body kit. ie wasn't sucured in any way

yeah it probably is which is why u get a fascia to fit it and it should all fit sweet

De-badged her today, used an all purpose cleaner and Armor Alll polish and wax, does a great job and you can't even tell the badges were there at all.



Just waiting for the vz calias lights to com in the mail. (: Then she's getting lowered and 18" verde scorpion rims on her. Can't wait.

Make sure you get the calais reflector strips for the bumper.. other wise you will pretty much get done by the first cop you see for no rear reflectors.. not to mention you might not get covered in a accident for not having them, as they may say they couldnt see the car etc etc..

u cant get done if u have the normal berlina lights, if he puts calais tail lights in he can get dicked because the reflector is underneath the reverse and brake lights. but then again all the other models dont have reflectors in their lights at all?.. so :\

I do want to get rid of the spolier as it hold no purpose apart from making it look like a family car. But i dont want the ugly holes it leaves in the boot and im not that keen to get the holes welded and sanded. might get it done when i have some money laying around.

The lights he has atm have reflectors in them, they are the red strip under the white part.

VZ Calais lights dont have reflectors inbuilt, have them out side the lights on the bumper garnish.

All the other models/make have reflectors in them. Its a law to have them.

Gah. I'll have to get some reflectors asap. And thanks phil, i'm still in the puupy love stages. She's great to drive, can't wait till i'm done with the mods, will look good i reckon.

They are about $100 from Holden... Will make it looks alot better to..

Also.. Go bigger then 18... 18's will looks so small, and be a waste of $$ IMO 19' Min...

I already have a set of 18" and with the reflectors, how do you go about attacthing them? cheers. I might make a trip to holden tomorow.
