Don't think you can get them as an "off shelf" item for the VZ's.

I know some people have put the VE scoops on VY/VZ but it was a one off effort.

Yes, VZ and VY bonnet's are different. The VZ bonnects have the 2 ridges running from the grill area.

Thinkin of putting a cam in this over the next few months and just wondering how ppl hold the lifters up wen they do them? Is it worth putting a blower friendly cam in the l76 or just do the valve springs?

got a walkinshaw scoop last week so will be gettin that fitted in the next few weeks and thanks to a curb the sideskirt it getting some work done to it. Also went off the cam idea because everyones saying i need to change my lifters if i want to put valve springs and a cam in it. So rip shifter is next (anyone got brand details wats good and wats shit) and then its a long time save for heads, cam and lifters thought if i goto pull the top end right apart better do it right when it goes back together

Haven't been on here in a while but since then iv'e put a walkinshaw bonnet scoop on and 2 new R type subs. Next for the car is rip shifter and relocate new battery to the boot. (The new subs dont like the old battery) Then a long time saving for head and cam package.

Old S types are for sale $400 ono

I have to admit... I quite like the scoop.

I think it works well on the silver.

    Nice work mate!

Mate, when you said you were going to put it on I was thinking it would be a terrible idea, but it looks pretty kick arse.

I think it's because your car is silver, on that black Maloo it looks like some sort of cancerus growth but works on your car.

What are the chance you would be able to modify the edge facing the driver to have some gauges in it? Then it would look good and be a functional housing for gauges?

Like, have the guages half sunk into it.

Not getting a cam just yet upgrading the diff to make it get up and go better. Getting a True Track and new gears can anyone tell me what they think about 4.11s or would 3.9s be more driver friendly? Also True Track or Kaaz?

Havn't done much to the car lately except just fitted a billet rip shift. They are really tight, 1st 3rd 5th and reverse all look like neutral. 2nd is abit hard to get into but hopefully it will wear in. Next for the car will be a cam and head package. Here is a link for the cam (Precision International - Part Details). I'm pretty sure it's a boost suited cam and will sound nice (Tell me if I'm wrong) Also the cam is for the L92 heads, Does anybody disagree that the L76 has L92 heads (Just wont to be sure I'm getting the right cam)

    Love your RIG mate.
    Bonnet scoop looks tuff.

What wing is that you have on the back? And is that brake light built into it?

    Cheers.

    Cheers mate.
I didn't think it was a Senator one, that's why I asked hey. On a second inspection of your photos the wing looks bigger than what I thought. Looks NICE.
