a little problem with the wiring harness they gave me, wished it was all plug and play but on there ISO the Amp Rem is the illumination , so when i put the acc on, the head lights turned on, steering wheel controls work & are awsome i just gotta mod this wiring harness then it will be all good , one other thing, there was no tel mute wire on it, hmm i wonder why i guess i don't need that connected

it was just the Amp Rem was into the Illumination & there was no Tel Mute & no Park Brake wire on it so its all fixed now, head unit is in, gauges are out (there stuffed) and yepp i do my soldering on the floor in my room :P

and my second bulk pack of Solavis SuperShield, it was around $120-$140 for a door kit of dynamat so i was like fk it and got a bulk pack of Solavis & its just as good as dynamat, so now i can do all 4 doors when i make new pods, and il ahve some left to put elsewhere, any ideas on where i should put it? the boot is already 90% covered in it lols

sound comp on the 25th can't wait to see my results

Should have done the MDF mate!! Takes no time at all, costs next to nothing and makes the largest difference in midbass.

Don't you have a Bunnings close by? Or a timber yard? Both will have.

heres some pictures of what i done today,
[*] such a mess hehe.. finally wired rca from mono amp to head unit and re did the amp remotes because when JB Hi Fi installed them that time they connected the amp remote wire to the Antenna Trigg which i thought was pretty stupid and now its connected to the "Amp Rem" on the back of the head unit.
[*] fitted the VY SS Head Lights (and btw.. with the indicators... it was a strait swap. ppl said i would need to buy new globes because apparently they are clear with orange lens.. well they were orange globes and all good
[*] changed fog lights globes to DiamondVision, same as head lights now (just for looks)
[*] fixed up the fog light wiring.. before it was just hanging under the car shared ground etc, now its wired up behind head light and throught the back of the engine bay around to the battery and to the relay and connected to the other fog light neg and strait to the battery terminal

It has nothing to do with SQ, your car just rattles very badly, I've seen much louder cars with zero rattles.

Most places. Put it between metal panels rubbing together/vibrating against each other.
