so i bought my calais about 2 months ago for 15K stock as a rock figured id finally do a thread for it.

Vehicle: 2003 vy calais (supercharged)

engine mods: mace 10psi, mace CAI modded for 4" intake, mace 1.9:1 rockers, 4" intake and pod, tuned by myself with guidance from the1.

exhaust: s/s extractors (cheap shit) heat wrapped to quieten them down/ 200 cpsi highflow cats/ stock super6 exhaust

wheels: 19" BBOSS maddisons

trans: stock, corvetter servo

suspension: stock

brakes: stock

interior: Red leather, hsv binnacle and saas boost and volts gauges.

Audio: jvc 7" double din touch screen, kicker 6.5 splits (front), 6.5 coax (rear doors), dual 12" subs and 4oo wrms monoblock amp.

wish list: full exhaust, W2A intercooler, 14-17psi, shift kit/corvette servo, diff gears.

Went to the local exhaust shop today to get a quote on welding up my cats when I put my exhaust on. Almost fainted when he said 4hrs at 90/hr lol I mean shit straight pipe between extractor and cat x2 ain't gonna take me 4 hours to do so I wonder why it would take a exhaust shop that long! Haha

fit the cat back tonight. its droney at 1500rpm but other then that sounds good! hopefully the drone gets a little less once there is a few k's on it!

the last couple of days i've been playing with tuner pro 5 rt in the calais! finally figured out why my quarter times are shit! the slip between 1-2 at WOT is a good second and between 2-3 is 1.8-2secs! once i can get a tune to get the shift times down i should be sweet! should easily be able to get them under a second each!

drags tonight got me a 14.7 @ 91.5mph with a full tank of fuel and subs. so .6 faster then last time with 100kg more weight.

nah not yet, i havent had the time to fit them. and i dont have the money atm to pay to have them fitted. hopefully it makes as much difference as a catback alone did.
