Hey guys,
Alot of you may know my car from other forums, but if not she's a 2004 SII VY HSV Clubsport. I purchased her new back in Dec '04 and she has gone through quite a few changes since then!
She is now on her last "modification run" as tranforming her into a "driven" showcar! The only thing that will be recognisable from HSV is the build plate and the badge on the bonnet.
Why have I gone this far?
We took her to Summernats 21 and she made the Top 20 in the Street Car Class out of 487cars on her engineering alone! Still having stock interior, paint and boot and we didn't win any trophies, so decided there and then that the next Summernats we enter, we will be taking home a trophy of some sort!
It's been nearly 2.5yrs of hard work building her into what she will be as everying has been customized by hand (nothing "bolt on" off the shelf)
The builder used to build horse and cart carriages in Central Queensland and is amazing with his hands!!
The thing I wanted with Rattler is for her to be fully street legal and that has NOT been easy but we have done it!
She is booked for Motor Ex in Sydney July 23&24 2011.... so fingers crossed!
Here is her modification sheet................
