Update..
Tailshaft has gone..In the process of getting it fixed.
Have also ordered Bendix HeavY Duty Brake pads & DBR Gold Slotted and Drilled Rotors.
Your diff might be LSD, go under the car and check it. Every manual S I've checked had it.. My ute did aswell but maybe that was because it's a ute.
Nice car nonetheless, look forward to the updates.
Thanks! It took me AGES to find a manual with low(ish) Km's and one that I was happy. Plus I wanted black! Also Nic - I am *slightly* jealous of your 18"...
Pretty sure it's non LSD - look at the single legger through the grass.
Think only the VY V6 utes came with an LSD..
Thanks Mate. The single legger kinda makes it obvious that it isn'tThough previous owner did say it was optioned with most options..
How many? I got mine at 101,000. I plan on rebuilding my entire audio system..the cadence 15" sounds like sh1t.

ooo, but vy's are pretty good on fuel![]()
Try driving to Ultimo through Newtown (really bad road in sydney). It's bumper to bumper the whole time, I get about 14.5l/100k...
ohh ok ^ 2 bad im not in sydney, cant try it lols
You don't want to..it's utter hell!! The distance is only about 30 minutes for me..but with traffic its 2 hours.
safe to say my weekly petrol bill is depressing![]()
yeah, i dont use the car much, just to go to tafe and back (15 minute drive 3 days a week) so im good with fuel![]()
Lucky. I average 600k+ a week haha
Looks good mate, just need some SS tail lights and head lights to set it off![]()
Thanks! I'm going to nightshade a second pair of similar taillights - I love the blacked out look.
As for headlights..Other stuff is more important to me for now, i'm happy with the HID's in these ones!
Fair enough mate.
You could always do the SS headlights retro if you don't want to spend the coin, but you have to pull them apart and spray the part black as it is on the SS variant... There's a how to on here for a VX I believe but still the same process I gather. Nice cheap way of getting the lookand yea you can just move your HID's over seeing as it's just the bulb?
Not really sure - It's alot of effort, for what I see as minimal I guess..looks? Definitely something i'd look into, but again it's time and money! These hid's have stuffed up so much - soon I need to get a new kit (not from jaycar) and rewire it all, as there is a short somewhere. Plus it keeps blowing fuses.
Then theres the thing of having a race car which I have to work on..and working two jobs! time is short![]()
poor didums..
Brakes are on
Needs a fluid flush soon though..
