Looks clean man. Weird as well, red around the coils, then the half polished plenum with the see-through CAI lol. Oh and the untouched alternator hahaha.
Polish up the bottom of the plenum, do the alternator and it'll be Mint! How much was the radiator line with the red ends cost you and where from?

yeah the alternator spoils it, i have a second hand alternator cover currently being chromed waiting to go on the existing alternator.
The radiator braided hose is just a cover kit for now until i have the money to buy the real thing with speedflow fittings from pit crew.
As far as the plenum goes, im waiting until i put the mace manifold insulator on to fit up the chromed base of the plenum currently being chromed aswell.
pics up when its all done!
Cheers
So bit of an update guys!
Purchased the following:
Crow cams stage 2 cam
Viton Valve stem seals
Manley valvespring retainers
Double row adjustable timing chain
Comp valve locks
130lb valve springs
All will be going in with the new rockers hopefully early-mid january by my engine builder along with a new computer+tune
Cant wait
Dyno pics/videos up when it gets done!
Also at some point will have to find the time and money to get the back exhaust tip cut off and a new twin tip welded on, as that square tip is as ugly as sin...

I like the colour contrast between the engine bay and the interior, and the pin striping looks sick. good job man....

hey, im looking @ getting vz ss tail lights and the dealer on eBay told me they are a straight swap and i wont need to mod the wiring?
what was yours like?
Thanks
You'll need to shave one of the lumpy things in the plastic cup that holds the wires in because you wont be able to turn the plastic cup to lock it in to the light properly, forget what its called sorry...
And from memory I think on the vy lights theres 3 or so plastic prong things that hold the light in place, the vz ss ones have 4 or 2 I think.
Its not a straight swap over exactly, because the set up is slightly different to the vy series lights.
Not enough to stop putting them in there, but slight little mods will be needed if they are genuine VZ ss items from gm.
Sorry about being unsure, it was a long time ago when I put those lights in.
Let us know how it ends up though!

love it.
that pin striping on the dash is intense, a very nice touch
Thanks mate![]()
Still trying to find time to get some really good pics of it and edited in photoshop using effects, looks cheap in the pics ive posted compared to how it is in real life aha.
Yeah the pinstriping is a bit different, but everyone seems to be liking it atm lol, it really is a love or hate thing i reckon
Cheers, Al
