hey guys. been a member on here for nearly two years now. i thort id start a thread on my fiance's car
she picked it up for 12k cash just over a year ago

Engine Type: 3.6l alloytec
Engine Mods: Nil (so far)
Power: Unsure
Exhaust: 2.5" lukey cat back
Gearbox: 4 speed auto
Diff: stock
Suspension: stock
Wheels: 17" rodney jane
Stereo: stock (not for long)
Future Mods: Extractors, cai (possibly mace unit), ordered new monroe GT sport shocks and struts, sl front king springs, ul rear king springs, rockford fosgate spilts and 12" sub (ordering next week), alpine headunit, install sound system with alpine mono block, apply 16% precut tint film, possibly change the exhaust tip and maybe bigger mags (possibly 20s)

well thats about all for now on my fiances car. will update with more photos and posts when the suspension and stereo system is installed.

Looks extremely clean and straight! 12k cash, even a year ago is pretty damn expensive for a VZ though !

It was one of the cheapest we could find at the time. Had just been serviced. New wheels and tyres with 96k on the clock.

Yea I'll try some other mags aswell. But for the time being we are gonna keep the 17s on it. Tyres are still mint as. Just looking for an idea on what wheels to go for next

Had at squizz at the VE GTS rims - not keen at all, sorry.
The less spokes the better also leaning towards more black rims
- well any way, I'll allow te_rarawa do the PS and hopefully Ill be able to make my mind up.... one day

I like Paynetrainvy rims on his... those are ones I like.

holy c***! i just finished ringing around for quotes to INSTALL a camber kit. i nearly fell over. 375 was the cheapest i was quoted at WA suspensions. does that price sound right? anybody know of a place that can do it for less?

on workers comp so the tints still havent been put on we are gonna hold off on installing the suspension coz of the damned camber kit (350 installed but supplied by us) so the missus will just do her sound system for the time being

Well camber kits are about $250 for top and toe so it's reasonable, they prob charged 1 hour labour.

My VY was dumped and it didn't need the camber kit. Vy's have their own little one. So VZ's should be the same.

and $12k isn't bad, as it was a year ago. My car was worth about $11k a year ago, now it drops to like $6k..

that figure was just for installion not for the kit. 4 point camber kits are around 170 mark. suspension shops have said sedan have toe adjustments so only requires 2 point camber kit. and apparently its a big job, exhaust to come out and half the rear end. approx 4 hours they said.

11k? pretty good price too, yea we've looked at cars now and are so cheap

becoz u didnt put a camber kit in do u get uneven tyre wear on the inside?

i recommend give Wilkinsons Suspension Centre a call, ask them any questions about camber and such, and they have cheap prices, did mine for about 300 less than any other place quoted me

gonna hold off on the camber kit and see how the tyres hold up. we only drive it on weekends as the missus catches the train to work. altho i mite drive hers to work and park the ss up lol. firsty B***H she is

Well the missus ordered her springs & shocks. Probably installing the sounds later this week or early next week depending on delivery.
wont be doing the tints this weekend... got to celebrate the bornday.

I installed the amp wires and rear speakers yesterday. Just waiting on the fascia so the h/u can be installed. Then I can mount the amp and boom boom. Hopefully the tint can go on next weekend too
