I've owned the ute for about 6 months now, absolutely stoked with it. Bought it locally: It was clean and tidy with 84,000km on the clock, for $17,500.. I couldn't say no!
So far I have fitted the 19's and the X force system. It came already lowered, with an Alpine screen, a mother of a V12 amp that powers 2x Type R 12'' subs behind each pew and an Alpine 4 channel that powers a pair of Type R splits in the doors. I'm yet to revise this install as it restricts the seats from sliding all the way back, which is an issue as I'm not the shortest bloke around!
Definitely keen to tickle the internals a little to achieve around the 300rwkw mark. But as we all know too well, this requires folding stuff that I don't have enough of at present!
I'm yet to get a few more pics, shall do so within the next few days. I'm
looking forward to getting to know this forum and the blokes that make it worthwhile!
Cheers,
Tristan.
Looks great mate, the Senator wheels add a huge touch of class to it! Very nice rig!

ute looks the goods mate more pics? also if your looking for new sub boxes but wanna keep the 12"s there are these on ebay:
EMPTY! VU VY VZ ute 12inch sub fibreglass box HSV LS1 | eBay
they're a bit pricey though at $300 incl postage each but they are the only full fit 12"s behind seats out there and do come ported and fabricated to suit either right or left
oh p.s i agree with the twin turbohaha
Thanks mate! Hopefully there's going to be some nice weather over the weekend so I'll have to get some more snaps of the rig. Those boxes are ideal! I was thinking about doing a tray install, but there will come a time when I'll put something in there that either wont fit because of the stereo, and/or cause damage to it. Keeping it in the cab is the safe option, so I'm keen to get me some of those, cheers for the link!
Twin turbo FTW mateI know chargers are cheaper etc etc.. but they just don't do it for me! Haha
thats ok mateand yeah i contemplated tray install but i think for a v6 ute its to much effort cos ill want to upgrade to an 8 when im off my p's, also it means i have to cut holes in everything which im not a fan off haha
and i agree twin turbo just cos its different and everyone supercharges haha
Nice ute, keep the pictures coming.
nice man, always had a thing for quicksilver.. no bias
those wheels just finish it off!
