Hey guys Here we have is my Vy commy

Name: Josh

Vehicle: 2003 VY Executive series 2

Engine mods: Mace 25mm inlet manifold spacer and 25mm Plenum spacer. SS Inductions Growler CAI. Mace 82mm lower temp thermostat. Mace 69mm throttle body. Gates blue radiator hoses. Clarkos 20% underdriven Pulleys


Exhaust: Pacemaker Extractors, standard cat, redback 2 and half inch cat back with hi flow muffler, no resonator.

Wheels: 20 inch VE Pentagons (Shadow Chrome) / silver Ceptors with chrome dress rings and centre caps




Trans: Stage 2 shift kit with corvette servo, 2500 rpm dominator hi stall

Suspension: KYB front struts with SSL King springs, SSSL King springs in the rear with Gt Monroe shortened shocks.

Brakes: RDA Slotted rotors and pads all round.

Interior: Phreddy dash (Blue and white with morphing needles, blue Into red). color coded dash (cluster surround, front door vents, centre console). SS floormats. Venetians.



Audio: Sony 7" double din headunit, kicker 6" front splits, kicker 6" rear speakers, kicker 6x9"s, powered by kicker 4 channel amp. Kicker 12" dual subs powered by a kicker monoblock.

Diff: rebuilt and tightened LSD with 3.7:1 diff gears.


Exterior: VZ SS fluted guards. VY SS Headlights and Taillights.

Hey mate how happy are you with your exhaust ? I've got the same redback system as you an I'm thinking of picking up some pacemakers is it worth it ?

I'm very happy with it mate, sounds good, doesn't drone, it's pretty loud but.

On my iPhone I just go new post then open advanced options , photo album, select the photos then close advanced an click send

How hard was it to put in an what kind of affect does it have??

Took me about 4 hours, on the floor, just pull the trans out then pull the old convertor off and put the new one on and then but it back in, it just makes the car punch off like a bit better plus it keeps the revs up in second alot more.

what do you rev at on the freeway with the 3.7s?

At around 105, which is what I normally sit at, it revs at around 2400, with the standard 3.08 it was around 2000, so bit of an increase.

Nah not yet, don't really have the time, will probs do it after I do the motor.

Yeah I plan on putting mine in myself also, not hard to undo 8 bolts (I think it's 8) then take the heavy ass stall off lol.

600 I'll look into it.. I should shift kit it at the same time lol..

There's a few more then 8 haha, you have to take the starter off, (just undo the 2 bolts holding it to the housing) tail shaft and few other things, and the shift kit is a bit harder you have to drill holes in your valve body lol

Haha I was just talking bout the hard bit :P tailshaft and stuff is simple .

The shiftkit I have no idea tho
