Hey all, here are a few pics of my 6L VZ SS.



Mods:

- 3" X-Force cat back zaust, tune to 300kw
- lowered on Kings
- ripshifter
- Clubby leather gear shift boot
- Red VE gear shift knob
- HSV full leather steering wheel
- stage one clutch by Marrano's Sydney
- Phreddy AUX imput and low lever outputs
- Calais bootliner on boot lid
- Calais suede on seat backs, doors, glovebox, etc.

Yep, next on the list is to get X-Force headers and cats. Had previously lowered it but this bad boy scraped over the crap roads in Sydney, so put the stock springs in the back again. Left the lowered ones in the front as they weren't as low as the backs and it's a bitch to pull the struts out. Here's a pic of how it looks now:

Previous mods I forgot to mention is a Marrano's stage one clutch, rip shifter (installed myself), a VZ clubby shifter and a VZ HSV steering wheel. Interior's looking pretty nice now

Want to get koni adjustable shocks - anyone had much experience with these?

Also would like to change over the green lighting to something custom - am thinking red and white. Will have to go back to Phreddy. On the dials is it poss to have the 'SS' and 'V8' signs lit white whilst the rest is red? Have white needles and want to keep these.

And finally would like to do something with the low level outputs Phreddy installed for me a while back - need to get a good amp and some decent speakers. Probably like to Dynamat the doors too.

Oh and yeah would like to install electrics on the passenger seat too and get a VZ clubby back seat with Caprice middle section.

Yeah does look sweet! I want my SS and V8 in white though with red everything else.

There is some awesome leather out there - much better than SS leather - go Nappa. I want to get mine retrimmed but need to work like a dog to get the cash

I would love to get my leather re-trimmed. Turismo door inserts, black seats with Turismo stitching and the SS logos in Turismo, and Turismo stitching on the steering wheel and shifter.

Update: got back from a wkend away to find my SS had been stolen. Got it back. Turns out it was a 14 yr old kid who did it, and the fkn idiot was caught driving it to school!!!! Man how I wish I was driving to school in a 6l v8 when I was 14. Rule for me movin forward: take my keys with me wherever I go

Hey dude wasn't very expensive, round about 300 including the aux input. Def worth getting - a real professional look, very much factory appearance.

other than that, i can easily say holdens are the only cars that look good in red lol, never liked red cars but mann these vz's look good in it

yay finally managed to afford some extractors and hi flow cats. Am thinking X-Force stainless. Any ideas how the car would sound after? I already have 3" x-force catback. Hope it lowers the burble a bit more - I like setting off other ppl's car alarms driving by!!

Ok final payback for the sht head who stole my car. Saw him in the street on his skateboard and scared the shit outta him by pretending to run him down. He ended up in the gutter!!!! I stopped and said of he ever did somehing lie this again he would be run over! Hahahahaha

With the 2006 6L models the footrest was cheapened to being just black plastic. I got a footrest from a Monaro to have the full compliment:
