Very nice mate, your SS looks badass!!

Any plans for other mods? Did you buy it with the extractors etc. in already? Got mine bog stock from an old dude in Canberra and have to save my pennies to get stuff done. Would love a cam but extractors and tune first

Be good to see interior pix - I know SS interiors are the same but have an interest in seeing how they are holding up 5-6 down the track.

Also does WA let u drive a high-powered car on ur P's?

Wow, low kays. I got mine with 58,000 and in 3 yrs have chucked 84,000 kays on to it!

The clutch sounds like it is showing the symptoms mine did before it gave up totally - about a month later. When it went is the pedal dropped to the floor and yeh basically, no clutch! I was lucky to be able to drive it home. When I booked it in to get it fixed I ordered a tow truck that never showed up. When I rang they said they had 'more important jobs' and mine had been pushed back. So I drove it to Burwood from my house myself to make the appointment (abt 15kays thru town - with loads of lights). Point is if u get stuck, it's do-able, just switch off the ignition at the lights and leave heaps of space in front of you for the initial bunny hop!

Got a stage 1 clutch which is nice and tight. Was abt 2.2K but seeing as it was not that much dearer than a Holden one and a lot stronger, it was worth it. Also the stocko clutches can't be bled, so had a bleeder hose put on it too. Maybe get this done when u get urs.

What brand of zaust you got? If it's Xforce and u have the headers and cats I'd love to see a vid of it - currently i have just a 3" Stainless XForce cat back but want to upgrade to the full system and wouldn't mind hearing it.

If u can afford it, go a dark tint like 20% - black on black looks awesome

Yeah the clutch isnt too bad atm only under high rpm does the clutch stay depressed. but im going to take it to active automotive for them to have a look at it in the next few weeks. Is the stage one clutch alot heavier than the stock one?

Not sure on what brand exhaust it but ill upload a vid tomorrow of it

Yar the stg one is heavier but about 20x as fun as you pop out ur gear changes. I put a ripshifter in my SS too, so driving my beast is something I always look forward to Saves time on the track too!!!

And no self respecting man should not know what kind of zaust he has on his V8 - so check it out!!

Does Active Auto specialise in LSX engines? Might be a good idea to look thru this site for LS1 tuners in WA - ones that do engine mods too. They prolly could give you a better indication of how urgent ur clutch is and what options you have.

    Good luck bro!

Active Automotive have had alot of experience with LSX engines, they built a VZ Clubsport for a customer that had a 440ci stroker in it. It hauled ass. about 600hp at the rears if i remember

Dude interior looks sweet. I reckon getting a shorter throw shifter with proper leather boot would set it off nicely, like this: Geniune Holden VY-VZ 6 Speed Leather gear knob with short shifter and boots | eBay

Love the Black interior with Red touches, gives it a nice clean look. Perfectly lowered too, enjoy it!
