- Ashtray doesn't closer properly *fixed*
- Glovebox droops down a bit on the left *fixed, replaced rubber stoppers & holding clips*
- Climate Control on HIGH occasionally the fan drops out

- Mace manifold insulator & plenum spacer fitted, injectors recoed, plenum & throttlebody cleaned 116,XXXkms - 12/2/12

A calais is worth every cent. There is just no comparison to a VY and a VX! The VY is MILES MILES MILES ahead of them.

Not sure if i'll change my name or not... the old thread is still there so I may just leave it as is.

Blue leather is awesome too haha, and the bushes are actually in good nick! The front end is really really tight, handling is excellent, corners great. Unlike all the other standard calais' i've driven which just had MEGA body roll.

next on the list is to carbon clean the plenum and get some sort of better air filter going on... probably a mace cai.

The interior is an interesting look. I also own a Vespers Blue (718H) 2003 VY1 Calais but mine has the shale (beige) leather interior... and an L67. Either way I thought the VS Calais looked sweet considering Ive owned 3 cars that have all been Calais' and started with a series one VS myself your definately on the right path.

yeah lol! nsw plates won't be going for a while though unfortunately the rego is pretty long and i intend to use it . unless i have some money bags fall from the sky and ill do the rwc early.
