    Default Cammed VY II - M6 Calais

    Model: 2003 VY II Calais
    Trans: T56 6 Speed with Ripshifter and NPC Copper mix clutch.
    Colour: Syracuse
    Bodykit: Stock Series 2 Calais.
    Engine Type: LS1

    Interior mods: Interior lights changed to white and blue led's for cluster, cruise and all switches.
    Audio: Pioneer Double din headunit, Morel Dotech Ovation 6 speakers powered by a Genesis Profile 5 amp and a Polk audio MM series 12" sub.
    Engine Mods: 222/228 @113lsa Lunati Cam, Lunati Double valve springs, Double row timing chain, Yella Terra 1.8 Ratio Rockers, Alloy OTRCAI.
    Power: Unknown will get a figure when its re tuned locally.
    Exhaust: Sureflo short 4-1 extractors, ballistic cats and Sureflo single 3.5" "quiet" system.
    Diff: 3.73 LSD
    Brakes: Standard now but will be upgrading in future
    Suspension: Standard FE 1.5.
    Wheels: Holden By Design J series wheels painted satin black
    Tyres: Federal 595 RSR rear.
    Future Mods: Lower it a tad, upgrade brakes and eventually maybe sunroof.

    Looks immaculate mate. Did you do the 6speed conversion yourself?

    You'll need to cover do something about those holes in the boot where the factory wing was placed!

    This look absolutely stunning. So similar to mine as well (manual, cammed, etc)
    Would be good to see how much power it makes.

    Where abouts is Narre Warren? That in VIC?
    Just wondering cause my local car club is going to WSID mid January.

    Yeah i need to get around to having the boot filled and repainted.

    I did the conversion on 4 jack stands at home with the help of two mates. It took two days start to finish including removing the auto.

    Thanks everyone, its taken a while but i think its just about finished now..
    future plans a set of coilovers and possibly sunroof but i dunno.

    Yeah Narre Warren is in Vic, im guessing anywhere between 260-280rwkw.. its still go the stock heads so i imagine it will be holding it back a lot.

    i havent changed the maplight globes from the standard off white coloured ones that came fitted with it. i just changed all the led's in the cluster and climate and switches.

    At the moment its tuned remotely with a EFI Live Autocal from OZtrack but im not happy with the current tune in it.

    I'm Leaning towards LSX Garage, i had a chat to brett there and hes very helpful, and he had done some great work on tuning my mates stock cammed vy ss.

    Ah nice! what mods are done to your ute so far?
    i was either going to go to APS or LSX Garage as i have heard good things about both of them.
    I'd suggest against getting a remote tune though, no matter how many times it gets adjusted it still runs like a pig.
    it idles like it has a monster cam in it :S

    Only thing is Genie tri ys, stock cats which i want to replace, twin 2 1/2 cat back no rear resi. thats it. Just don't know if i want Maf or Mafless. There cam package is very affordable aswell.

    Either is pretty much the same these days, i always go mafless because of the otrcai i have but if you have an intake that supports the maf then its not a huge difference either way.

    Very very nice, Cream interior that I don't mind. What Head Unit have you got in there? any chance of some more pics of that?
