    Default VZ Equipe

    Engine:

    3.6L Alloytec 175kw

    Exhaust:

    Yes

    Suspension:

    Monroe GT Sport Shocks/Struts
Super Low Pedders Springs (6415) - Front -> Changed to Kings Ultra Lows (KHFL-47SL+ VZ) - Difference photo added. Dropped from 37cm hub to guard down to 34cm.
Ultra Low Pedders Springs (6417) - Rear (29.5cm hub to guard)

Surprisingly this car is considered legal as the lowest point is roughly 12.5cm off the ground on a level surface (with my subs in the boot).

    Wheels:

    K.Speed Biaggi 20"
    Achilles ATR Sports 225/35R20

    Modifications:

Soon to be adding new ECU giving it 190kw, changing exhaust/manifolds and eventually turbo charging it (unless its overly expensive).

    Stereo Audio / Visual:

    Trophy winning SPL/SQ setup.

    Estimated Power:

At LEAST 450kw at the wheels, bro.

I'm not a mechanic, but i don't think putting in the ECU from a 190kw alloytec will do any good. they are different engines.

correct me if I'm wrong ..

    Nice car though

They are different engines. I think the 190 has variable valve timing on both inlet and exhaust. Where the 175 only has variable on one or the other.

Apparently its just a performance tune: eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

What do you guys think of the front height? Apparently the bump stops and the bearing tops have raised my car 2cm higher than it should be on the super low springs.

Needs to sit just above the tyre, so you have no clearance issues. So i'd say 20mm lower and it would be sweet.

yeah but the problem is i need new springs. i originally have pedders "super low" springs.

i need to know what model i need to make it 2cm lower... or i might just get ssl king springs for the front.

Get the kingsprings ssl and you'll be fine. But I'd suggest some shortened struts to go with them.

its not a performance tune at all, there are distinct differences. VVT, Different manifold, gearbox and other things. By all means if it works do it, but i think you will find it doesnt work

I never looked at that ebay ad until now. The ad states the tune is for the 175kw alloytec. So should be fine...

Very clean man, very nice. I'm just wondering, i have an equpie myself and its exactly the same, i was just wondering at the ride height have do you scrub at all with that rim and wheel combination? if so have you rolled your guards? and am i allowed to ask how much a set of those rims go? Both with and without tyres?

All 4 guards had to be rolled. Rear wheel will hit the top of the wheel well if going over potholes and it will burn on the wheel well if you have 3 idiots in the back and you go around corners. Otherwise its legal and FINE!

I got my wheel and tire package from FDO wheels in Victoria as they could price match stuff from Tempe (I talked my ass off to get them cheaper at Tempe but their customer service just put me off). Either way I got them at least $700 lower than a discounted quote haha! So good luck!

    which ones? mine?

tempe sell them for $1500 wheels and tires.

but only if you bargain with them.

OR! just call up a shop that price matches and SAY tempe offered 1500

very nice, sits at the same height as mine at the rear I think, perfect height just even with the top of the rim
    always loved those wheels

to the guy looking for a set, look on eBay and forums and stuff, LOTS of these wheels around and I'm sure you can find a really cheap set
know a guy who just sold a set for 600 with 80% tyres and 1 tyre needed replacing, so look around and you might find them cheap
    called kspeed biaggi
Check out my VZ SS =D

    Cheers

Yeah the colour was basically the only reason why I got it initially.

I didnt even think about different model commodores at the time other than the SS etc.

    Damn those tiny tail lights.

Its not the size that counts, its how you use them.

I was considering it but theyre too dark and the current tail lights match the colour of the car better

My next mods are prob a vinyl black roof (unless it will look retarded) and red walls on the tires.

Then a Grange front conversion. Just need to find the parts at a wreckers, which will be impossible.
