Got it in 08 with 14,114kms, it was an ex HOLDEN PTY LTD car driven by a general manager from the head office @ Elizabeth. My wife was working in the car sales at the time and she left Holden @ Moorooka with nothing in the deal for themselves....
Thanks to the Holden staff member who left coke stain on the underside of the rear bench and thanks for the $3 I found when I removed it!
Dyno for OTR, Exhaust (2.5in), UDP and Mafless 234rwkw:
Dyno for cam, heads, 3in exhaust 279rwkw:
Very happy with the SOTP feeling after the cam and head upgrade currently ran a PB 12.5 and traction is still an issue

Now thats a serious machine man, as Surfwagon said; Luxury and power, perfect mix you have going there! Nice car, very nice car.![]()
Thanks for the kind words guys
Yea I thought I was being lazy buying the Calais (being Auto) but have come to realize I am lazy and turns out I needed the luxury and comfort
BTW Surfwagon you definitely need to cam the senator....unbelievable the difference they make regardless of what size you get
best color evah! really nice car, nice mods, boss.
So my future engine mods have turned up...just gotta find the time now to install
Basically I got some Hardened Pushrods and Yella Terra Roller Rockers, Fast 102 intake which has been ported by Vengeance racing in the US, and I've sent an LS2 throttlebody over to Vmax in the states to have it CNC ported, check out the cnc marks in the photo, also sent was a Vmax Velocity ring which sits inside the the 102's mouth so it when the air does enter the throttle there is no turbulence and makes some ease in the tuning department

The VZ is here! About time!
Looks great man. I had the same wheels on my ss, they really suit yours well.. Get some interior shots up, I love the Calais interior..
My VY SS: 20s, Tint, Leather, DVD player, OTR, Cammed 290rwkw
Someone's been taking advantage of the high aussie dollar!! Great car mate, I would love those goodies under the bonnet of my ss.
Yeah I'm in no hurry my last car (a VS V8) took me 8 years to get how I wanted it and my wife doesn't understand why I have to 'change' it when she thinks it's so much better already than the old one.But what they don't know don't hurt them.lol.
Haha, i think we may all be in the same boat sneaking money into the car without the Mrs knowing too much about it..
My VY SS: 20s, Tint, Leather, DVD player, OTR, Cammed 290rwkw
Well me and a mate attempted the roller rockers/pushrods yesterday all was good until I snapped a valve cover boltTorque wrench didn't click of at 8lbs - which is hand tight, should of just done it up by hand
But my mate as cluey as he is removed the snapped bolt with a drill and easy out then put it all back together, we fired up the VZC and it was all sweet. Probably have to give it an oil change just in-case there's no metal filings moving around the motor
feels smoother but haven't gave it a good rev just yet.
what da ### does VZC stand 4? :/m8 looks sh!t hot for a skyline!
yea things are sweet no real difference in power (standard ratio) but at least I know there not wearing out my valve guides - standard rockers makes bronzed valve guides wear out quicker.
Still figuring out my intake hopefully in the next few months
thanks I think? and is VZC really that hard to work out btw its my number plate and my mates refer to it as the VZC
V.Z.C stands for "VZ calais" I'd assume.. correct me if I'm wrong. lol
By the way, the wheels are neat. Sits very nice. I wouldn't mind them on my vz!
