Default [HUSTLN] Bagged LS1 WK Stato. Custom bag setup and boot install updates

Thought it was about time i posted up my car and started using JC a bit.

    Name: Ryan
    Model: HBD WK
    Year: 2003
    Colour: Quicksilver
Bodykit: Statesman, HBD boot lip, custom grille
    Engine Type: 5.7
Engine Mods: 90mm TB, VCM OTRCAI and mafless tune
    Power: 328rwhp
Exhaust: Pacemaker extractors, twin 3" high flow pacemaker steel cats, twin 3" dumped at the diff out of 3" resonators
    Gearbox: 4L60-E
    Diff: Standard, new internals.
Brakes: Slotted front disks, Bendix pads
Suspension: Airbag suspension, front and rear. 3/8 valves, 1/2" lines all round, Dual 480C VIAIR compressors and full ACCUAIR sensor based self leveling. Every bush is nolathane and has had the rear control arms spaced down from the body to correct tilt back on the diff when its lower.
Wheels/Tyres: 20" Gmax Heritage rims, 225/30/20 Achilles ATR tyres with white walls
Interior: Standard grey leather, custom gauge pods in sunglasses holder
Other mods: customized turtle shell, polished OTR, MSD leads, matte stripped tail lights, odd things here and there.
Stereo: Eclipse AVN726E Double Din nav head unit, 2x Rockford Fosgate T0D215 (15") subs, Rockford T1500-1bdcp amp, D34 Optima in CNC cut billet battery tray in the boot (for now)
    Future Mods:
Stereo plans- Replace T0s with 2x T1D215 subs and a T2500 amp, Rockford Fosgate T1000-4ad amp, 2 pairs of splits, 2 coax (rockford too), custom fiberglass pods on the inside of the boot lid and an ipad or monitor between the splits. Plus finish dynamiting everything.

Bodywork- Plastic weld up exhaust cut out and a full new colour respray, custom grille (in progress) and replace odd seals and things

Engine/drivetrain Work- Was hoping to get this done rather than my stereo but for license sake, it can wait.
Cam, stall, tunnel ram manifold, twin throttle bodies, shotgun scoop, 3.9s, highstall (+ all the odd bits in between of course)
But for now, a 224/228 112LC Cam, valve springs and re tune soon.

Odd stuff- Few more chromed covers in bay, new fiberglassed radiator top cover, VZ R8 front seat foams and black leather with cream door inserts and stitching retrim, relocate main battery to boot and replace with optima plus odd bits here and there.

    Cheers

    Stages-
    When i first got it-

    New rims and other bits-

Bags + a whole lot more-

    Current Photos-

One Stockies its a little low haha-

And a vid of my first full on skid at Barbagallo Raceway ages ago (didnt want to hold 2nd, then again, i was going easy on it. Had an hour long drive home from the track haha)-

Yeah i should have it there. Not sure it'll be entered because its not finished at all haha. Still need to take that box out and build a slightly shallower one so until thats done i cant do the rest. Also only has a 30 second tune that i did on the 2nd day of motorvation. They went in at about 3am the day before.

This is one of the cleanest Statesmans I have ever seen. And this one has got to be one of my favourite WK Statesmans. I love everything about it. I like the idea of mounting the gauges in the sun glasses holder haha. Keep up the good work mate. I wish my Statesman was this clean.

Cheers man. Glad other people are rating it so highly. Just wish i had the spare cash to "finish" it. So i can do it all over again with a 300C SRT8 haha. Yeah was sitting in my car one arvo trying to find decent spots to mount them and there really isnt any. Started making a triple pod for the top of the center console, but then thought of using the sunglasses holder. No reason it cant be even better mate

Yeah, to be honest, I wasn't a fan of Quicksilver, but I have changed my mind after seeing your's haha. The only thing holding me back from getting work done on mine is money as well. I like the idea of mounting the gauges where you did, I have two gauges in my VS mounted on the pillar and they rattle around and sometimes it can be annoying. With my Statesman, I have bought brand new genuine door moulds, chrome strips, Caprice exterior door handles, and when I take it all in to get fitted at the panel beater I was thinking of asking them to fo a full respray in white (colour it already is) without the two tone, just a thought at the moment, not sure which may i'm going to go, and I will ask them if they install sunroofs as well, I might get one. And I would also like to get a new set of 19 or 20 inch rims to finish it off. My Statesman is clean, but yours makes mine look average haha

Yeah moneys been holding me back since ive had it but shop around and be cautious about products and it all comes together slowly. One thing with this colour is from a distance it always looks pretty clean which is always good. But next colour should be even better . Oh sweet, sounds good man. Sunroofs over here are over 2.5k so mine can go without i thing haha. Look forward to seing yours when its done man
