Bought SV6000 a few of months ago. Very nice ride.
Had my engine tuner do a few mods, nothing outrageous and the engine now pulls around 370Kw.
Aside from bulk grunt the brakes are very, very impressive.
Using the DDI interface, I ran a bit of a rough 1/4 mile, quite a bit of wheel spin to begin and pulled 13.2 secs without really trying.
I've also changed the boot badge, which may offend some HSV purists but to hell with it, I think it's cool!
Here's a screen dump of the software from the 'DDI', after the first 1/4 mile run I did when I bought the car.
13.2 secs, 172 klm.![]()

That is one damn sexy machine, I'm so envious.
Looks hot in yellow as well, I'm not usually a fan of yellow cars, but it suits it nicely.
Just needs to be dropped an inch or two![]()
well it makes mine vt look like crap, very nice car. i love that colour the hole car inside and out looks cool i believe its the best sedan out at the moment
Love the Yellow! Car looks sweet as-thou i hate the look of how they have
done the side indicator on the fender!![]()
I just messed in my pants.....
Seriously that is the nicest Holden I have seen to date. Very very lucky you are to be able to say that you own one!
Hey NewSV, are you gonna replace those side vents with VZ SS ones? It would look much nicer!
In amongst those mods did you get extractors as well? Extractors and bigger exhaust would give the SV6000 plenty more!
****ing hot car man
Sweet car mate. love it. you need to change the badge to 370.
nice ride mate, love the colour coded callipers and center caps sets it off a treat
I don't think I'll do the side vents, I really don't think they are that bad.Originally Posted by 1991_Vn2nV
Engine mods were, extractors, exhaust, cold air intake(better than the stupid HSV one), and a computer edit, (VCM Suite).
The car started off at around 225Kw at the wheels and after the mods and tune is pulling around 275Kw at the wheels.![]()
I figure that the 360 badge says enough!!Originally Posted by NickVR

Man I could only dream of 275kw at the rear wheels, awesome stuff! Respect to you man![]()
damn thats sexy, any interior pics? is it auto or manual? did you buy it brand new?
Bought new, around two months ago, although built late 2005.
Is a manual, I don't know how many autos were built, although I think that were only a few.
See attached interior, it doesn't show the stitched SV6000 in the door trim though.![]()
thats is a sweet arse ride, i want one, mayb i should trade in the xu6
Went for a small run the other day, on a piece of highway that is in the boondocks of country Queensland, which shall of course remain nameless.
The road aint flash but wide and straight.
Turned the digital speedo on and gave it a squirt....ran out of road in fifth cog at an indicated 262 km/h. I think, given enough highway could probably reach a realistic 280 km/h.
dam lol, my vl would barely pull 180nice ride man, drive it loudly and proudly

****ing nice i like it
Taking some use of the DDI in the car I ran a quater mile yesterday and got a reasonable time even with a little wheelspin.
12.8 seconds.
Will be hard to get any better, perhaps slick tyres and a hot day.
Or even a professional driver.
Love the car, love the colour. Great ride there mate.![]()
Then The Boys Light Up.
Have just added spec sheet to jpegs.
If I get my sh*t together, tomorrow I will add a file that shows the last 1/4 mile run using the DDI.
Thats one nice ass ride. I love the Sv6000, and love the colour too! LS2 beast!
