Just picked up a new bluetooth pioneer stereo.
Will be installing it this weekend so will post some pics of how the instillation went.

G-day flogg, nice vy mate is the pionner a double din unit and are you going to get it wired so you can still use volume etc on the wheel? all the best with it.

nah is just a single din, picked up a facia to go in with it as well.

At this stage it wont be wired up to the wheel. from what i have read that will cost me another couple hungey so is on the 'to do' list, (which includes some lowered springs VLturbs87)... actually that list just seems to keep on growing... and growing...

Was thinking Kings SL all round? i dont want to go overly low as it is a daily transporter and she gets loaded up every now and then?
What do people think??

well the installation went fine (many thanks to the ASR removal/refit download from their sight, cheers guys, very easy to follow).
I didnt experience any problems, except for how to work out how to get the arial to go up and down, at this stage it is just stuck in the down position, but the radio still gets reception which is good. Dont know about out in the sticks though??

I took the opportunity while i was there to pull out the trip meter switches as the up button wasnt working. Pulled it apart and put it back together and stuff me it is now working??!! guess i saved myself a hundred bucks from getting it fixed by the local holden ripoff, oh i mean dealer!

Have put some pics for you to check out how i went and how it all looks now...

they are calais internationals. Im pretty sure they came out on the VT calias, unsure which series or anything. Check the trading post as they come up for sale reasonably often - round $1000 mark with tyres.

For a 'standard' commodore rim they are pretty sweet i reckon. and they are 17s too which is handy.

Nice ride mate,

Looked identical to mine when I bought it, except mine was manual. It came with the Calais International rims, but I am not really a fan of them, so took them off and sold them and put my VY SS Wheels from my VT.

Love to see more pics as the mods happen.

Nice ride.. love the black!! Check out my ride, its super low all round, give you an indication of what to expect.. the pics were taken a couple days after I got it done so it sits a little lower now but not much..
Keep us posted on the mods..
