any recomendations like either a sv6/ss or berlina/lumina/calais or vz monaro bar?

- Manual Conversion
The Daily VN T5V6
LSD : SS Kit : Calais Rear : Calais Dash : Climate Control : Power Windows : More...

All New Suspension : 322mm Brakes : 3.45 LSD : T56 Gearbox : Group A Kit : More...
thanks for that, yeah i like the ss wheels but that cost a fair bit more and usually they have tyres that are worn out,
with the manual conversion, i looked at mine than had a good look at a 6sp ute at work and i believe it would be a pretty straight forward swap, it may have to be towed to holden to get the computer re-programmed unless i buy a front cut from somewhere and swap the ecu over..... but thats in a few years time yet, but theres no harm in thinking

Yeah those tires are always a bit more expensive and come with worn tires, anless you find ones that were taking off stright from when the car was bought. But they do look good and i wouldnt go any other... im thinking of getting VY SS's for mine.

there was also a little bit of damage done when driving back from cowra on the long week end, what happened i was following a truck with water tanks on the back and being a nice fellow the driver went to move over and one of the tanks hit a large branch on an old dead tree, it shattered and showered my car with bits of tree.......
any way the only damage done was a few marks on the roof bonnet and front bumper which will buff out, a smashed headlight protector, smashed bonnett protector, and a couple of chips on windscreen,
was not impressed at all, but it was an accident so what can you do.....

As for the auto you get used to it and personally I would be putting the money into mods, a tune and a 3.46 lsd and eating those standard manuals and autos for breakfast.![]()

nah it was quite easy actually, when i was buffing my rag got caught on the commodore badge and ripped the 'co' off it, for that one i grabbed the hairdrier heated and pulled off with my fingers (ripped the skin of the nails), so with the executive badge i got a fine flat blade screwdriver covered it with a rag stuck it under the badge and lifted, much easier,
used a clay bar to remove the built up dirt/pieces of double sided tape, polished than waxed,
you would never tell they where there

yes being manual would be awesome, but if i did do it there would be a few conditions, like living out of home, have a second car, have a donor car, and of course have the money to do all of the above lol,
my new years resolution is to put wheels on it lol, im buying a new mountain bike and a moto this year so that might strain the budget, but we'll see how things go
im still loving this car, but for a couple of weeks i did consider moving it on...
