VY Calias/Clubsport Headlights
SS inductions 'Big Mouth' CAI
darkest legal tint. The dealer ripped us off.
performance headers (pacemaker?)
VZ Calais tail lights + VZ rear reflector insert
Kingsprings super lows and maybe ssl on rear
GTS Rims
alpine sound system
7" touch screen monitor
in headrest dvd screens
Raptor supercharger

Ideas anyone? I have a very tight budget too, so it will be a long process. I'm only an L plater.

not going to put chromes on it as im not a big fan of chrome rims on commos.

do it your way ur style, wish i had that as a L plate car thats for sure.

i suggest rims, tints and suspension as 1st mods.
and plz no mirror tint! i beg of u. just get a 20% tint, from ur pics ur windows arnt tinted.

trust me they are tinted. I want to make it faster but the bloody rta won't let me "add engine performance".

The only downside of this car as a first car is that the insurance isn't cheap. So any upgrades may take a while. I do want it to look nice though

I sorta have the idea of darkest legal tint (black) and smoked tail lights. Sorta like the calais or SS ones but i want it smoked heavily so that its close to the same colour as the paint so its more of a stealth car. It's just an idea as my cousin put it to me the other day.

Only problem with that is i don't know where to get it done.

check with the rta as smoking ur lights isnt exactly legal depending how dark u go.
the car should be fast enough as it it, theve got plenty power std speshly for a learner (had to do it)
as for insurance check out just cars dot com. there pretty good with young drivers with mods to their cars, but u can only pay yearly no monthly's. much better imho.

Yeah. I was just thinking if i smoked them it would become illegal because the Berlina has the reflectors in the tails and i don't know if they would work properly if they are smoked. As i said, we'll see what happens next when i get the money

Gday mate not sure if you have tinted ur tail lights yet eh but i removed my tail lights and tinted them when i bought my Vy S. I purchased a product called Night shades from Autobarn and there is enough in the can to do your car and two of your mates cars.

oh and by the way my reflectors still work awesome after i tinted them. I have had no interest at all from the police or transport.
