Well the cars going into Holden this Wednesday for the warranty issues. The helpful chap said that they do 3 diff replacements a week!! So he said I’d probably have no issue with the diff, seatbelt, yes and their going to have a look at the gearbox. He said that they get a fare few complaints about the gearbox, especially in the utes for some odd reason. The door should be taken care off and they have to have a closer look at the satin inserts.

Thanks mate, saving up as we speak i hate the wheels that are on it now, want some that show off the big brakes

I suggest black deepish dish ones, Or massive chromies to the wall of the rim :P

Forget the chromies if ya wanna show off breaks, I'd get deep dish black 5 spoked ones.

Got the ute back this arvo from holden for the warranty issues. There no bad news really The car is booked in Monday and Tuesday next week for its diff rebuild. They replaced the whole drivers seatbelt assembly. Replaced all 4 satin steering wheel inserts even though only 3 were damaged. They found nothing wrong with the gearbox but they said if it keeps doing it just bring it in again and we'll keep it for a couple of days and drive it to see if we can find the problem. There was no issue with the door, the mrs now reckons that she may have had the window down a little that’s why water was coming in...................... They even fixed the little stowage compartment under the stereo (where my e-toll fits very nicely) because it wouldn’t open properly.

So all in all extremely happy on how everything turned out, defiantly going back there

Debaged her today. Ill get some pictures up tomorrow. Took the rear holden and v8's badges off. Didnt realise that the rear holden badge used holes for its location. Now i have 2 small holes where the badge was... Kept the ssz badges thou

I have a silver chev badge and was thinking of painting it gloss black. and putting in where the holden badge was..? i know everyones view on chev badges but beats me having to fill the holes and repaint it

I've just gotten back from a massive workout from the gym so I apologise in advance if I seem a little hypo and make heaps of spelling/grammar mistakes lol I have some good news, followed by some bad news followed by a couple of questions.

Good news is that I got the car back from Holden regarding the new diff. All sweet, this is where the bad news starts... Driving home from work today I was listening to music when for some reason I turned the stereo off. And there it was, a HUGE clunking noise coming from the diff. The way ill describe it is it sounds like something’s loose. It doesn’t do it under load but as soon as you back off or brake BAM! Especially at 40-60 k's it vibrates threw the car. It sounds terrible and sounds like it’s doing something no favours at all.... So im little bit disappointed about that. Ill have to ring Holden up again tomorrow. Just feel like a bit of a tosser ringing up again over the same problem.

Now the questions… I've saved up a bit of money just for mods on the car. I've decided on a couple of thing but not sure which one to do first. So tell me what you think

1. Tint the windows (midnight express) and lower it (Lovells SL)
2. Twin mendal bent 3" cat back stainless steel exhaust into quad tips
3. MTX Thin sub and MTX amp plus tinting the windows

Can’t afford wheels or a full exhaust system yet. Just got to watch my finances over the next couple of months but I NEED to do something to it lol

Another thing is that I bought some LED globes of ebay for the rear indicator and reverse lights. Should be arriving any day now so ill let you all know how that goes.

MTX have a slimline sub? I currently have MTX splits and i was thinking id have to go another brand sub.
