Oh man blind spot isnt the word. its terrible! and the dual hump hardlid makes it worse. Holden should really have put a reverse camera or parking sensors in the utes. If there was a kid that was shorter then the tailgate you wouldnt know they where there. Lowering it actually dramticaly helps the rear view DAMN ay lol

Yeah im gonna go this way, looks alot better then having the number plate in the tailgate IMO. Im finding alot of different types of Maloo rear bars thou, the center bit looks different in some utes then it does on others and then the geniune ones. not sure which one i like lol

Atleast you see the humour in it by the look of that signage job
goos luck with it mate!

Sorry mate missed your post.
lol @ the 1 in 10, should have put it that way.
Yeah its only metal. If he had come back and say the whole rear end was ****ed then i'd be a little bit ****ed off but he cant exactly run away, kinda live in the same house There was no point it getting angry about it i have informed him on serveral occasions that he owes me a new tailgate lol and maybe a "sorry for reversing your car into a pole" gift aswell

Yeah ive pretty much decided this is the way im going to go. Will give me a good hiding spot for the rear parking sensors and camera. It'll came in handy when im reversing at boat ramps aswell

just noticed the two rear bars are different, i think the black one would look better cause it actually has a spot for the number plate to sit, and a spot for number plate light unlike the silver one, which may cause you headaches down the track with police/rego checks etc

Good point. The silver one looks more genuine, but that doesnt really bother me. I found out where he got it from, SSV. $600 or something along those lines for a unprimed bar + postage. I found a guy of ebay selling scratched genuine maloo rear bars for $555 + postage. I could always modify the genuine one?
