Yeah, I thinks thats whats in mine, so thats pretty much equal to king ssl, I think? that looks good, like that hey..
awww...
lol, sweet as, I like surprises!!
I know what you mean, with looking at things day after day, and finding imperfections! im good at it too!! It starts to really bug me after a while! lol,
That height looks good, I wasnt sure if you were talking about king springs, or lovells,
Go lovells SL all round, you shouldnt have any problems then, and troys old ute looks sweet like that!!
Problems, as in rear guards??
Or more camber?
You have 19's hey?
Or... you went flying over a speed hump, and lost your exhaust...? lol,
Wasnt too happy on friday lol
The problem lies in the front right. For some reason its absolutly smashing the inner guard and shreading the **** outa my tyre... You cant fit your pinky finger between the guard and the tyre.
The smallest bump and i'm talking a drop in the road of like a 1cm is enough to make it hit. It's going back in tomorrow for them to fix it. They are already replacing the tyre for free.
By the sounds of it when i picked it up i need a **** load of other bits to straighten everything up. So i was thinking of just getting the nolathene full car kit and be done with it.
Not to impressed. I was told this car had never been in a accident from the dealer but theres alot of things pointed towards this car having a major smash sometime b4 me owning it...
Ohh, ouch?!! thats a big pain in the arse right there..
My front was fine when I lowered it, got an alignment and it adjusted up fine..? the camber adjustments max'd out, but its all aligned right - if I go any lower then it'l need more work to fix it.
Theres a possibility that the guards just been bent from a previous crash, but yeah, it could be from a major one a while ago.. lets hope not
And I'm still running the plastic inner guards under there, with 20's, no scrubs..
Hope you can get out of it cheaper than a full nolathane kit, they're quite few hundred plus install costs.. $$$$..
Utes all fixed up now
something about a camber bolt or something, wasnt really listening lol
point is it doesnt smash the crap out of my inner guard anymore!
Its damaged it thou, taken the paint off and bent the inside... what should i do about that?? should i hit them up and say something?
In other news i've painted a whole heaps of parts today so hopefully weather permitting i'll be able to fit them on the weekend! Items include,
Both mirrors
Both rear bumpers
The plastic strips on the roof
The plastic bit just behind the bonnet
Radiator cover
Changed the switches on the panel inside the tray umm and yeah, think thats about it.
Needs a wash! except i cant because the mirrors are off,.. god its hard to drive without mirrors!
Good news then!!
Were they ok when you told them about it? - like happy to fix it? if so, it couldn't hurt to mention it to the sales guy/supervisor - who ever you saw to get the camber fixed up??
Was it eccentric camber bolts, or did they put a different bolt/drill out the strut mounts, lol - (a bit dodgey) or shim the camber adjustment?
Any of those sound familiar??
What do the roof strips and the bit behind the bonnet look like all painted in? pretty good?? I was going to see if they could paint the roof strips on mine, but that bit behind the bonnet sounds like a good idea too??!!
Maybe masking tape the mirror holes?? or fit it all up then a good tub..?
Most importantly... PICS!!!! lol,
