Well, got the rip shift in today. All i can say is awesome!!
Thanks to my brother (azzss) who helped with the installation in his shed. We didn't know how we'd go but 2 1/2 hours and a few beers later it was in without any major hassles.

Yep. Mucked around with that for a while with the feeler gauge. Then dropped her down and tested it out in the shed to see if it would jump out, all good.

It's the brand of the shifter. Rip shifter is made by Phonsy mullen of GM Motorsport. If you're looking for one i definately recommend this one.

Okaaay, bit of an update.
CAI by Dus is on it's way down, along with a oztrack mail order tune. Also looking at a Mal Wood option 3 clutch in the not too distant future. Then i'll be looking at the rocker covers, get rid of those ugly plastic covers!
Will be posting pics when my otr arrives and is installed.

Well i have the new mail order mafless tune and the otr from duspeed arrived also so we mucked around last night putting them in. Job wasn't too bad, getting the rubber flange to sit on the otr and throttle body was a shit of a job but got there in the end. Took her for a spin and all i can say is wow! Car is so much more responsive under foot, suprised me how much actually. Kicking myself that i never went this way earlier! The otr looks a treat under the bonnet so all in all money well spent! Will post some pics of the install shortly.

Nah, not much of a sticker fan on cars so none for me.

They are an awesome shifter which i highly recommend but you'd have to check with phonsy on whether or not he makes one for the 6cyl, his website doesn't list one but he may make one.
yeah ripshifters are good as my mate FAALAP mostly missed 3rd on the strip hes put a race one in and hasnt looked back did his best time on the strip.
