i never believed people when they said how awesome they are. i always thought the shifter was great only lacking in the 2-3 shift, now i realise its fk'ing awesome, its like a mini ferrari box the gears notch in so nicely and they change so smooth and quickly, completements any moddified ls1!

Need to make a note for people doing the ripshift install, but i found it strange they tell you to remove the shifter knob :S when all you need to do is rasie the foamy shifter shaft cover and undo both shifter bolts, and the knob plus gear boot comes off in 1 peice, sure as hell minimises the chances of a "noisey gear knob", i havent noticed any increase in cabin noise, maybe only very slightly but i'l probaly pack the area with some sort of sound absorber.

i know you werent booting it that hard last night, but it being my first strap in any v8.. im in love.

really felt like **** when i hopped back in my lpg v6 eco.

haha so if you ever get bored thinkin your car doesnt go fast enough and doesnt have enough power, drive mine for a day.

i just brought a 2002 vy spac, and im wondering where to start with the performance mods, cat back exhaust, cam, chip wot is best value vs power? cheers

when u 25 and have the excess your more than welcome to drive my car too

sounds like the typical mods, exhaust, rockers, cold air intake. is it manual or auto? maybe start a my ride thread and ask peoples opinions matey, post some pics up to.

havent liked the oil i was running since the cam swap, so drained out the castrol edge 10w60 that was in there, it came out VERY black, only been in less than 2000km, yuk was just wrong.

slipped in some new penrite hpr10 (10w50) and so far idle is smoother less noisey.

thanks mate.... yeah i traded her in got close to what i would have selling it privatley without the grief involved...
