got bored of watchin lowndes goin around bathurst so i thought id muck around with the commo, did i bit of cleaning etc and then when i was under the bonnet i noticed the ugly charcoal grille and thought hmmm, what can i do to make it look better? so i ended up taking it off and spraying it black. made an improvement, blends in now. still looking into buying a chev one and modifying it so i get the silver bar across minus the bowtie.

another mini update: got my rear window re tinted today as i was really unhappy with the previous tint. the old tint was "anti glare" which basically means i literally could only just make out shapes and bold colours. and it had a scratch in it. $120 later im really happy, the new tint is Midnight express and blends in well with the other windows. they had to remove my rear sunvisor, might re fit later, see how i go.

I'm looking at getting midnight express too actually, looks really good. Its one of those mods thats definately on the list for me. Might do it early next year.

OK, stage one weight reduction haha! no Bootlid!

This weekend the boot is off to see my cousins boyfriend to get the dent taken out, badgeholes properly filled in and the spoiler holes filled in. when its done, The boot get put back on spoilerless then back to his workshop for a full car buff! just in time for summernats!
while the boot spends the next week in the paint shop i might get some pinstripe red walls happening on my tyres, think it should look good, no badges or spoiler just clean and straight.

next project after this : removing the only badge left and making it all look factory , the front grille.

since the boot is at the spray painters thought id have a go at hookin up a centre brake light as there wont be a spoiler anymore and i want the car to look legal. found an ADR compliant one at autobarn for $30. cheaper than a defect.
