We bought this Series 2 Vy Supercharged Calais.

i think if you have only owned 8's then the super 6 will seem a little bland. however it is quite open to some very easy mods. high boost pulleys, thermostats and heat shields, good zorst and it will get up and boogy. Just wont sound like an 8 and you will have a fair bit of supercharger whine if you go with this mods. the super 6 is a good strong motor compared to the stock ecotec

Looks good Mate. Definitely stick an exhaust on it. Single 3" should do or maybe a dual 2.5".

Just a quick price check,

for our Calais it has 70,000km on the clock and im the 2nd owner it has service history.

And its Value in the yard was 19k

do you guys think this was a good deal considering its supercharged ect..

I think it's a great deal. Most VYII Calais are going for around the 22k mark and thats not s/c.

thats a good buy, i looked at a few vy calais s/c 6's but they all sounded like truck motors when i started them up so i went with the vz sv6. But it should keep you happy for a while

Mmm calais very clean looking paint will look good when you get that glaze off and put some proper wax on her to give it a deep paint appearece.

I just got a Vy series 2 s-pack super 6. Being the 3rd owner i knew the first owner by coincidence and it was a granpa so . 95k km on the clock i got it for $13.5k coz i think the guy was despreate to sell coz a family was on its way.... Just need some $$$ for mods now though
