Nice mate. Bet she sounds nice. Make her a little lower and she'll look mint.

Thanks guys.

Something i forgot to add to the main post is im also planning on fitting some short tube 4 into 1 extractors, (probably HM Headers design) that just bolt straight up to the standard cat position, seeing as its already got a catback (i will do this before it gets a tune obviously).

Its a 4 spd, wife cant drive manual so auto was the only option. 80k km on the clock when we got it, got just under 82k as of today. The auto box isnt as well behaved as id like, but the edit should fix that somewhat.

Funny you should say about lowering it DUK13Y, parked next to my old man's stock height VZ SV6, and its a good inch higher than the SV6 is.

But i dont think I will lower it though - my driveway has a steep entrance, and I dont want it to keep bottoming out, my VR scrapes the exhaust when pulling in, and that isnt all that much lower.

Congrats on the purchase. Welcome to a world of power
Get yourself an OTR intake (Stuff the 2 hole mod)... i have a full exhaust system, mail order MAFLESS tune and had been using an SS Inductions intake (apparently worse than stock) until today. I put on an OTR from CSV for $350 and the car goes so much harder. Really surprised what difference it made.

The SS should have FE2 suspension, so it should be lower than stock (that being said, is the SV6 stock or FE2)? I would have thought they would have been the same height, or the SS lower.

Thanks adam. Yeah its a whole world away from my 5.0l, after 4k rpm its absolutely manic.

Is OTR really that much better? Ive heard conflicting reports on this, some think its great, others think its not worth the cash.

SV6 is FE2 (atleast his is anyway). I thought the same, very odd indeed.

Yes I reckon it's well worth it. HUGE improvement over my old intake.
