New Member... New Ride
Hey guys, new to the forum and also new to the world of Holden. I actually used these forums to help research buying my car so a belated thanks to all the regular posters for sharing your knowledge.
2006 VZ SV6
Mods so far:
2.5" catback
30% tints
painted calipers
18" SSA Drivers
Mods to come:
Pacemaker headers
Dyno tune
Brake package upgrade
Would love to drop it a couple inches as well but the wife vetoed that idea right at the beginning, so thats a no go for now.
Anyway, any comments or suggestions welcome. Cheers...

Thanks man. Yea I'd ike to lower it a bit but as I say, the wife's not keen so I've got some more work to do on that front.
Actually pretty disappointed in the exhaust at this stage. It was just a bolt up, off the shelf, Chase system. Doesnt sound anything like what I hoped for so looking to get it swapped back to stock while I scope out some other options.
One suggestion I've had so far is for a custom 2.5" job that runs through a Flowmaster muffler and out via a Bullet reasonator. The guy I spoke to said that, with Pacemaker Headers, he could replicate the sound of a VS Senator that we fired up in the parking lot. That thing sounded like an absolute best - but after the first disappointment, I'm reluctant to just take his word for it.
Anyone tried a similar setup?

the sv6 already has fe2, i'd get a strut brace if you drive through the twisty bits, they do help a little.
if you wanna lower it, just get it done, and hopefully you wife won't notice, just say your springs have sagged a bit.
looks like a top car, good luck with you r planned mods
