Default I'd like you all to meet...

My '05 SV6. Have had it for about 10 months now, and have been a member for almost as long... Have finally got around to posting some pics

Mods to date:
- Low king springs paired with KYB shocks all round
- Nolathane sway bar end links
- Nolathane castor rod bushes

- Gen III cat-back exhaust, rear resi replaced with twin 2" straight tubing
- 'Monster' MCAI with Simota panel filter (see pics)

Mods to come:
- Full tune
- Replace MAF-Throttle body intake pipe with stainless bend & silicone joiners (purely cosmetic)
- Respray wheels with phantom black accents
- Respray calipers red
- Replace stock spoiler for lip spoiler
- Install superlow kings into front - think the rear should stay as it is.

Overall i'm stoked with the performance of the car, handles awesome with the flashier suspension and sticks like s**t to a blanket.
Reason for 'monster MCAI' is i'd seen other guys do the 2nd hole with 70mm pipe, and figured why not go for 4"? Seeing as though bigger is better....

sweet looking car.

i'm doing my wheels black soon, just with a spray can until i can afford some stockies, then i'll do them properly.

ls1clubby had them done on his old sv6

Cheers mate.

Yeah i thought that looked awesome. Would still like to keep some silver on the rim somewhere, just to break all the black up a bit. Will be a project over xmas i think along with painting the calipers red.

Yeah noticed a bit more kick when the timing changes, nothing down low though really. That growl is just insane. Read someone commented on the standard alloytec sounding like a vacuum cleaner - i couldnt agree more haha. Definitly sounds more like a car now - tough exhaust note down low, then a kick up the a*se and an awesome growl from the engine bay up high.

Wanting to put a lip spoiler on the rear at some stage as well. Have seen a few for sale here. Just dont wanna get pinged by the 5-0 for no eye-level tail light.

Senator lip has a brake light in it does it??

Yeah i figured it would be easy enough to fit my own brake light in the rear window, but the glass has that area blacked out. Could always go for a VE tail light, but not sure whether that would look good or not.
