Welcome to the phorums bro!
Car looks sexy as & dont let us hold you back from modding your car to the hilt! This phorum you'll find is choc full of knowledge & good people to deal with as well. (i hope) lol
Nice car Mate, isn't it bad when you buy a car and when you get it you say no mods this time and a few weeks later your itching to do something Lol
Thanks mate! Yeah i came across this website only the other day and thought damn this place has got alot of information that is useful to me. And better yet plenty of people who are very clued on with commodores and know exactly what im talkn about which means i wont have to drive all over town to get info on modding the clubby, Ray
hahaha yeah it does suck coz the other project gets pushed back further n further. But ive had it for around four months now n havnt done a single thing to it, so ive been good this time lol. But yeah ive got the itch bad now to find out what the 6ltre can do. That and i heard 1 the other day with an exhaust, cam, heads etc...and now the urge is unstopable lol
Sexy car mate. At least get your exhaust done. Can't leave a nice V8 like that quiet.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car

We need a few more!
Nice car too!
awesome car mate, i'm looking at upgrading soon and might go for something like this!
"its beau...its beau....its beautiful!"
Yeah they are along those lines. A lot of the marketing is around the 2-3 shift.
Another popular product is the Ripshift. Juzo has one of those and could tell you more about it.
From what I can tell there isn't much between them (the Rip and the Billet shifters) and is pretty much comes down to personal preference. The all shorten the throws, make the throws more precise, improve the feel of the shift and are usually stronger.
They do use the standard boot.
Oh ok cool, thanks for the info. Well i got abit of time to think about it as i'd like to get some work done to the engine before i worry to much about bettering the shift but it sounds like a must if i plan on running it down the strip at sum stage
Awesome looking car mate!!
What have you had done to her recently?
Big crane cam, retainers, springs, valves, timing chain, 25% underdrivn pully, yella terra otrcai, surge tank with aditional bigger fuel pump, full twin 3inch stainless x-force system with 4 into 1 stainless 1 3/4 x-force extrators, NOS wet shot system, twin plate clutch and billet pro shifter (currently waiting to get it in for a tune). Got those adjustable coilovers sitting there to go in next too.
Will post some more pics up when i get it back in a week or so

Geeeeez, i just looked at the date since i last posted.....time just flys when your havn fun
this is about all that has changed so far on the outside...just white n red walls on tyres
Thanks man. Yeah to me it had heaps of go before with the 297kw stock 6ltre, so now with the extra goods i cant wait to get it back, goin to be heaps of fun i think!
Performance Parts Plus (in the same shop as Carby Center in punari st) put it all together for me, great people in there. Barry (the owner of PPP & CC) just won that gambler street car comp on saturday with a 9.9 down the 1/4 in the R/T class and another car he does the work on won the S/T class so hes difinately up there with the best in town. Has run a best of 9.5 with only a 180hp shot (still has another 320hp shot to put in it once he can get it to hook up lol) so they definately know there stuff in there as far as performace goes. Id highly recomend him any day if you ever want any work done, good prices and high class work. Hes also the main distributor up here for rocket so any brands any parts in their rocket cataloge he will get cheaper then anyone else in town.
Mic at Kenny's Garage will be tuning it as they have proven to have built alot of tough LS motors around town, and it seams commodores is what he mainly works on so in my opinion he has abit more of an edge on the competition as far has commodores go.
Red+white walls looks awesome. Top stuff.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car
Thanks mate, i just realised thats an older photo so it was actualy red + silver there, my mistake. Have since changed it to white + red and it stood out alot more, and i think the white gave it abit more class where as the silver just blended in with the wheel. I dont want to change my wheels so abit of icing on the cake was all i was arfter.....soon they will be tucking up into the guards abit more and that will complete it for me
Never heard of these guys, will definitely have to check them out
Yeah, I've heard great stuff about Kenny's. I love driving past, they always have some great looking commodores out the front. Can't wait till I'm old enough to join the LSX family lol. Only 5 years to go *sigh*
Finally decided to open the box in the corner and have a peak at these coilovers....nice bit of gear i must say. Hopefully two more weeks and i'll have time to fit them
