Na mate just black - i don't know why the silver part looks so chromy...must be the lighting i guess

VZnewbie - the exhaust was $200, it's the exhaust from v8 twin tip, Just chopped and welded from the cat back onto the stock exhaust. Sounds beefy

Rides sweet man, no scrubbage - although i had to get the guards rolled

I wouldn't mind going another inch lower, Still sits at a legal height too

Handles well. I've got a mate who lowered his VX on 19's 1.5" both ends, and his is no less of a bumpy ride.

I'm sort of modeling my car after a VY ss ute i know...pontiac front bar full repsray in baby blue. looks GREAT - might look junk in the sedan though. it was just an idea.

It's not the full exhaust system, It's the end of a 3" catback twin tip exhaust. Works out much cheaper and easier to install - It's not as loud as a full exhaust but the growl is deeper and absolutely no drone.

Take a look at the number plate - I'm in NSW - my car is completely P plate and street legal

Yeah spraying is DEF on the to do list, but it all comes down to $$

Currently I'm working on a custom but PRACTICAL boot install - as i still use my boot for work. I'm getting fibreglass boxes molded to the sides of the boot. Both subs should slightly face out. Putting a carpeted wall up against the LPG tank (with the safety gas release valve still exposed, keepin it legal ) with both amps mounted to that. Mixed in with a downlights in the floor and neons hidden in the roof, should look neat but custom

Being an auto Executive and only on my P's i see no point in touching performance. So i have these mods in thought,

In order of which i'll do first to last


A mean looking front bar
Colour match the side skirts and rear bar to the same colour as the car
Monaro bonnet
Black and blue leather interior

There's a few places i know down south that make replica SS and clubby front bars - IMO i'd rather steer away from making my car look like something its not.

I wouldn't mind finding a nice custom bar. I've seen one driving around with 2 sets of foggys in it.. I'm wondering if thats legal, looked pretty sweet.

If your keen on getting a clubby front bar i know a place in my area that does fibreglass kits,

front bar, fitted and painted is around $900

The Headunit is a Kenwood 6039 (or something). Got it from my old work for $500. It's last years model and retailed $1400. I love it, but i keep gettin pulled over for watching dvds while driving

Lol, my boot invented the word rattle.

I'm thinking of dynomating the boot to make it weigh a bit more, and IF i can find one, the VY calais boot lid cover...

I got a lpg system and wanna do roughly the same type of install (Covering the gas tank ect)
One question i read you have 2 screws to take the raised floor out

Update:

It's been so long and i havn't really done a whole lot since then due to funds/time/and fixing little problems, i've done the following:

5% tints
PS2 in the glovebox connected with DVD headunit - basically for shits n giggles

Future plans:

I still plan on getting SS bar when i can find one at the right price.
Removing LPG system, i'm getting alot of backfire lately and i've gone through a few airboxes.
Custom intake.. anyone got some ideas for this? I heard OTR just doesn't work well with v6's.. 2nd hole mod is an option..
I've still got my eyes on ebay for a VY ss or calais leather interior setup
