well my folks are going away in 2 weeks
my old man asked me if i could get the windows tinted on the ute for him before there back, but on the side..... with out my mum knowing
he wanted darker then whats on the vs (35%)
so looking possibly 20% mark or mirror tint

he said i could also lower it it a bit, as he agrees its too hugh and nose dives when braking
just not SSSL height
ive got the option of free vt ss springs but im not sure if its worth the effort, just need to lose some guard gap
prob a inch more then the fe2 so SL kingies might be nice

tuesday window tint is booked in
getting 35% on the sides (doors and 1/4glass) and 18% on the rear window

yesterday got new tyres all round, now i just need to adjust the height

well tint got done today
35% on sides
18% on rear

much better now driving in dusk/night, no head light reflection on the back window and no seeing the road ahead as it reflects on the back window while looking through the rear view mirror

just need to fix the height problem now

This thing going to think it has airbags, lol, stock height, down in the sticks, back up to stock, back down - but not as far... haha

Does look tidy though, little sticker back there too..

well still hasnt been lowered yet
havnt came across springs yet which are local and fair price

today did a little mucking around
picked up a second hand guard, new dash surrounds and a parker light stick holder

put the guard on this morning,
much better no dent on the front and bar fitts better
still going to paint the bar though as its got two big chips
while the bar was off, took the right hand headlight out and got the two parker globes that fell off in it

fitted the dash surrounds and removed the mp3 cable for the cd player as it kept causing static when hitting bumps.


just needs lowering now then thats it

wow i miss the look of the ute lowered, think i might have to get on my old mans back about it

not much happening in the world of this daily
just the rims are on the vs and the ute has 15 alloys
front bar, LH guard and LH rear bumper end was painted

all sweet now, doesnt look like a 280k car now
rims will be back on soon once ive had them on the vl for the dyno

Should've painted the bottoms of the bumpers, and the side skirts - (Although, if they get scratched being the dark grey, you probly wouldn't notice it as much??)
