i reakon the ss style headlights would look sweet with that body kit, ive heard they are a bit pricey tho

SS/HSV lights will look awesome. Try this link. Some people here have used hair dryers though to be a bit safer. Took em longer but the piece of mind was there.

2 hole mod would probably do for the V6 and maybe change the rockers over to some high ratio ones.

Nice ride der mate should get some calais/ss headlights and calais tailights if u can would finis the loook off!! Wat rimz are they?? did u get it from Ozzy tyres? shuld get a tune too would improve heaps from wat i heard also manifold insulators heard immproves too fromm mace engineering.

The rims are rodney jane racing rims (beurerepairs), style is called linear, gota go the black though chrome is becoming too common. looked at the DIY headlights they look awesome just need to find the time to pull the lights.

yea i just put ss headlights in mine...400 each from the holden dealer, i got mine from ebay 375 for both.Have to re-wire in the blinker column tho...wen u put highbeam on the lowbeam globes go out, when they are both meant to stay on together, got mine re-wired 80bucks from auto electrician

Niice, Yeah i think take the rear spoiler off, and some SS tail lights and headlights.

I got my SS (03 VY) tail lights the other day for $130 for both, 2nd hand but with no scratches at all, Where in mint cond.

But yeah, Looks good mate, Like the bodykit.

Everyone tells me go the ss tailights but not very easy to find at a good price in sydney and ebay not much help, im thinking i like the look of the calias tail lights as well.

Do the calais ones fit in the exec-SS bumpers? I know that the VY exec-SS bumpers only support the exec to SS lights. The Berlina, calais and HSV bumpers are the only ones to support the Calais style lights in the VY range. Not sure about VZ.

However, if the calais ones fit, do them. They look better imo.

Update: installed a K&n Performance Air Filter - Can hear the difference in the induction sound, better driving too, Must Recommend, Installing front Strut bar on monday, peace out.

Strut bar in a bit weird at first, but now much better grip when i opunch it around corners

Great looking car mate. Love the HSV body kit and the black wheels.
Have to agree with the others in getting the SS style lights, would really top off the car.

thanks jared, i would get the ss lights but too dear, i would paint them but iam hopeless when painting anything, same reason i cant do the mcai = hopeless in painting and cutting, ilfind someone to do that stuff, peace

Firstly great car, mate. Love the R6 badge. Well done.
With the SS taillights, they are smaller than exec, berlina, calais & HSV lights. So therefore they wont fit, you'll have to buy a SS rear bar. Best bet is to get Calais taillights, as they are already tinted slightly

with the calais headlights its suposed too that the low beam goes off when switching high beam. exept for when you wanna flash the highbeam.

I see that you've got the 2.5 inch exhaust on. Does it make much difference to the sound? And ho easy is it to install on a ute?
