vz auto in gear (drive or reverse), system check ok, cant accelerate

hi guys,

just bought a new vz v6 auto lumina. tried to start her up today , the car started fine, the lcd on the speedo did the whole boot up holden logo with the "system check...ok", then i put the gear selector into drive, the car rolled forward by it self but i couldnt accelerate. so i tried putting it in reverse and couldnt accelerate either. so i put it back in park. turned the car off waited a few seconds then turned the car back on...waited for the system check to complete...it still said ok. so i put it into drive again and i was able to accelerate and all was fine and good.

any ideas as to why this happened, and if its possible it might happen again. am i doing something wrong? i used to drive a vr v6 manual so all the electronic auto shit is new to me.

hmm, little bit of ghost there, did the engine rev at all?

it might have been a random glitch, see how it goes, it might be one of those days,
