hair dryer and some fishing line. Take your time and don't apply the heat directly to the badge/surrounding paint. Also if your car has spent a SHITLOAD of time in the sun or conditions that will make it dirty and fade paint, then you may have colour differences when you take the badge off. There are a few threads in here on how to go about this, do a search.

And ask them for a dictionary and some literacy skills while your at it.
As stated, it isn't brain surgery, take your time and don't point the hair-dryer directly at the badge and hold it there.

hey guys those that are pushing the subject about attack it yourself its not that hard, has it ever ocurred to you that not everyone feels as competant or confident as you to attack their cars?

They know what they want, they just dont feel confident doing it.

I mean I may be biased but I see customers all the time that buy parts and accessories but dont want to install them themselves despite how simple the task may seem, or how "clear" the instructions are. Even experienced people can stuff up the simplest of tasks.

Youve tried to help by suggesting the thread, VZChick still isnt confident in doing it and just asked who could help.

sorry if i upset anyone but i had to say something

Honestly, there is nothing you can do wrong if you do it the way that CruznCalais posted. So long as you DON'T use a screw driver to get the badges off you will be absolutely fine. Hundreds of people on here and done it without a problem.

That's alot less then a panel shop will charge you, especially being a girl who obviously has no clue (no offence intended)

I did mine recently.. And they way i did them.. there is NO chance for anything to go wrong.

All you need is some OOMPH Glue remover (Bunnings).. and some dental floss.

Spray the badge, and leave it for a few minutes.... Then gently saw off using the floss.

Then spray the left over gunk with the OOMPH, leave for a few moments, and then you can gently roll it off.

Just try it yourself, there is no way you can muck it up : )

    Good Luck!!

If you take it to a panel shop I reckon they would charge you 150 bucks and get their 1st year to do it.. they pay him 8 bucks an hour and make a profit off your arse of 142 bucks.

my apologies for posting the thread link if you aren't confident. i haven't done it myself but it appears to be quite straightforward. other ways to do it include using a hairdryer to soften the glue, old credit/bank/library card instead of fishing line...
as the others have said, if you really want it done by a pro, either be willing to fork out large amounts of money for something that potentially blind freddy could do a better job at, or find a member closer to you and ask them.
