K&N Pod Filter, 2 hole mod

Ok, was thinking about these and was wanting to know if they are actually worth while, or just a waist of time? what are the advantages (if any) of a K&N Pod Filter over a normal Commodore air filter? 2 hole mod..just for induction noise? is it worth it considering that the air cleaner will wear out twice as quick and increase chances of dirtying your engine?

Just wanting to know why people do these? Are they just a wank?

why a pod filter? just get a panel filter and cut a 90mm hole in the airbox

have k&n panel filter with 2 hole mod. gets good economy, speshly on hways.
growls went you take off hard too. would recommend bang for buck.

for sure mate, made me smile when i did it! cheap mod aswell, $65 for the filter and a 90mm hole saw, free if you can borrow one. I didnt bother putting some fancy flanged pvc pipe, couldnt be ****ed lol

haha, well im on Ps so I culdnt even if I wanted too, maybe when im off em and can save some money see if I can make an investment and join the V8 club
