Air box for 2 hole mod

Hi Guys
I want to do the 2 hole mod but don't want to hack my original box...
can anyone tell me if i can get the lower part of the air box or even the complete one and prices if possible...also Iam planning to get a K&N filter...does it make any difference in terms of power output or mileage...also if u can give me part number for the same if any...

there is a guy in qld that is getting a pod kit and will be selling his two hole mod and k&n soon so yeah ill let him know ur interested.(his is from a calias V6)

but i think the hsvs had em standard and from what ive seen u get slightly better fuel and more of an induction growl rather then a power increase

depends on state and no i dont know how much he will be selling it for i think panel filters can go from $80 to over $100.

Why dont you ring holden spare parts, or a holden wreckers for air box? I got a Fram air hog (same sort of thing as K&N) on special at super cheap for around $45. K&N usually around $100 form memory.
DUnno why you wouldnt just mod your box, I have the two hole mod + MCAI and am not planning on going back, waste of money to buy a second airbox you may never use

I bought one recently from holden spares for $35ish i think.

Also got K&N Filter for $69, but that was at mates rates.

haha i got my K&N for $69 (mates at supercheap) and i just picked up my MCAI for $19.95 from my holden dealer at ferntree gully ..

cant wait to have some free time to do MY OWN 2 hole mod

I modded the original box but then picked up a HSV air box from a VT, exactly the same but it looks more professional as they put a scoop onto it from factory

I still have a few months of factory warranty left..if something goes wrong I dont want holden to make excuse that I hacked the airbox and thats the reason...

i just installed a MACE CAI for my VZ alloytec (which is awesome by the way) so i am planning to sell my 2-hole modded airbox with K&N filter if anyone wants it.
