    Default Vz fuel Gauge stuck on FULL

    Hi all THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR WEB SITE i just bought a 04 vz exec wagon 107,000km i love the car so far but the fuel gauge is stuck on full and the D.T.E etc isnt reading correctly i called holden and they gave me all the high $$$ solutions can anyone tell me what may be the problem and ways to fix it?     could be your fuel sender

    Hold the mode and set buttons down together,
    Turn key to on position,
    You are now in a diagnostic mode.
    Press mode button until you get to the 'Dash Cristmas tree'
    Fuel gauge should move to half full (Empty?)
    If it moves to half your fuel sender or wiring may be at fault.

    holy hell, id hit up ebay, you can get an exec one for less than 150, and if your in sydney area hit up phreddy for a km adjustment and dash lighting change, well worth it

    I've had the exact same problem. Fuel gauge is staying on full. What did you end up doing? Who did you take it to and do you remember what it cost you roundabouts?
