VZ Calais H/L and T/L prices

what should i expect to pay for a set of VZ calais tail lights and head lights?

Found a set of 2nd hand tail lights and seriously considering buying them. If i get them, the head lights will come at another time, when i find some for sale, which is why im after seperate prices for the two. There are brand new sets on ebay for $350 i believe, and im ringing holden now for some RRP for comparision.

Brand new from Holden are as follows:

headlights: $930 a pair
taillights: $450 a pair.

hoping for 2nd hand prices if possible, found some 2nd hand H/L and T/L for sale and looking for a price comparison before buying.

yeah i've tried to see 2nd prices, i think a set of calais tails went for around the $160 mark on ebay.

if i get calais h/l i'll get them from that link, best price i've seen. closest i've seen is 800 from motor traders.

just dont forget if you get tails you need to either cut your rear bar or get a calais one

The good thing is that you can easily sell your SV6 lights for around $200 on ebay...

yeah will surely be doing that to cover cost of the buy. I believe the Calais/SS share the same headlights correct? Ive found some in auction, and they're at $255, anyone know what i should expect them to go for?

Yeah VZ headlights are all the same.

Lol I think I'm watching the same set.. But they always finish at atleast $400+

The best way would be to purchase from the first link, decent price, plus they will be brand new.

Nah when I'm ready to buy SS Healights, I'll be going new.

But I do have a habit of watching all the 2nd hand sets, just incase I can grab a bargain ; )

thought all tail lights on the VZ (beside statesman) are the same size?

i was told that the calais lights didnt fit some models, i thought it was just the exec that they didnt fit. But it appears they only fit the calais bar.

Yeah SS/SV6 are the same.

and

Exec/Berlina/Calais are the same.

Parents will be ringing their friend at Holden in the morning to see what price he can get them at, but im not hoping for much of a price difference. Ill have to get a new price for the SS tail lights instead of the Calais, but they should be roughly the same right?

Also, found an VZ HSV clubsport up for wrecking from a wreckers, gonna ring in the morning and ask about the H/L, T/L and the leather interior they mentioned

I cant believe holdens price for h/l and t/l. Genuine is such a rip off. Good luck with the search mate.

why not get a spray painter to tint yours, thats what i did, cost me 50 bux for a mate to do them turned out pretty good.

Bit offtopic here, but does anyone know why some VZ SV6's have an alloytech190 badge on the front quarter and some dont?
