just wondering if a 2004 VZ Exec commodore has traction control ... it only has a open center diff and it will not do line lockies . any advise would be great

unless its a 914 cop pack no, if it did it will have a switch in the console, what you are getting is torque management, brake torque management, and abuse mode all rolled into one along side the irs taking most of the spontaneous spinn out of it, remember irs provides traction, unless you have a manual or big power, makes it really hard,
you can have torque limiters removed by a tune, but can make driving in the wet slippery

My VZ has a Service Vehicle Soon alert and sounds an audible alrm when i stop at traffic lights and when starting the car. What is this about? Services are ok and i reset the service alert in the computer but nothing was needing to be reset. Any ideas what the S V S Alert problem may be? Thanks. Wayne.
